September 26, 2018

Kurt and Margie Kondrich got married in 1996. They are proud parents to their son Nolan and daughter Chloe. In 2003, Chloe was born with Down syndrome, and her birth placed the Konrich family on an incredible journey of advocacy. After Chloe was born, Kurt left his career as a Pittsburgh Police Officer and focused his life mission on being a strong advocate for those with Down syndrome.

Kurt and Chloe have received several awards for advocacy efforts, and Kurt spoke at the United Nations in 2017 and 2018. The Kondrich family has met with the President and Vice President and even passed the PA Legislature: the Down Syndrome Prenatal Education Act "Chloe's Law" in July of 2014.
