NEW YORK CITY 12/22/19 – The Beacon Theater on Broadway was filled to the rafters with a classy musical production with dancing, singing and even some gospel that took place today in New York City. And the audience cheered...cheered the Gospel, God's Word, on Broadway. What a joy to type that sentence.

There was excellent scenery that would compliment any Broadway production plus live music. It was first class all the way.

This "Christmas on Broadway" musical, telling the story of the birth of Jesus, is the brainchild of Rev. David Jeremiah a pastor of a big Church in San Diego, and greatly admired by this columnist. Indeed he is exactly the kind of pastor this unworthy australopithecus would have hoped to be.

He is a very good looking man with white hair. He not only possesses a dignity of presentation, but also is an expert on the Bible, along with the gift of communicating it with great clarity, bringing out truths that astonish many.

Indeed he handles the pulpit with such class and elegant usage of words that he is welcomed in many major locations throughout the United States . Every place he takes the Word of God to, is always packed to capacity.

People are so eager to hear the World of God that it appears that we are on the path to the greatest revival the world has ever seen.

Indeed, that word was given to me as a prophecy 15 years ago when an older blind woman in a retirement home received her sight following a prayer given for her in her room. A Bible Study program was immediately scheduled by the residents of the home. They wanted to learn more about this God who had restored the sight of an elderly woman they all knew.

Rev. David Jeremiah has a national weekly TV program on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) and has generated a huge following. Anyone who sees and hears his program will be the first to make reservations to see him when he appears in person at various locations throughout the U.S.

Dr. Jeremiah began holding services at the Appel Room Jazz Center located in a top floor of Lincoln Center in the middle of New York City. He pulls full houses there as well. Indeed, that room is always packed. There is glass wall at the end of the room, where the pulpit is set on a platform, giving spectacular views of the city. They actually have to turn people away as everybody wants to see and hear this minister.

The people are hungry for some kind of security that is not offered in this secular world where there is such uncertainty, violence, random shootings, out of control conduct, and confusion along with a political situation where tempers flare and politicians are rude and insulting to one another, They all seemingly want to control our country and everyone in it.

They even play dirty tricks to try and sabotage each other. Indeed there are very few displays of manners and respect as those in my age range learned in school. So people are looking for another answer, especially to the question, 'is God real?' It is no wonder that citizens are ready to re-consider something that has been under our noses for a long long time.

People are now beginning to dust off the old family Bibles in their homes and opening them up to read God's Word. They are desperately seeking the truth and that can only be found in Jesus.

New Yorkers are known to be skeptics but that identity is nowhere to be found during these services conducted by Pastor Jeremiah. By all means, go see him if he comes to your area, or, watch him on TV (TBN) each Sunday.

Plus, God is raising up new pastors with new works in various cities and towns. I believe God is giving a new anointing for His church. People, think about this. God gave me a personal Word after the blind woman in the nursing home regained her sight after the prayer was offered to her.

While getting in my car, God spoke to my heart, saying, "What happened in there, the miracle that was provided, will become commonplace in a few years as the greatest revival that man has ever known will take place. That time is here.

In 2003, this writer had a stroke, actually died and made the ultimate field trip. So I KNOW that this is all true. And so will you if you consciously open your heart and read and listen to the Word and truth of God.

And I want to be there to see if all of you will be there when the trumpet sounds.
