Particularly disturbed and highly insecure at the realization of their irrelevance, the Democrat Media Complex is increasingly apoplectic with each new cabinet appointment announced by President Trump. The establishment of both parties is also none too pleased. Democrats, RINOs, and press are howling Trump’s political appointees are inexperienced, unqualified, or just too loyal to Trump. Certainly unorthodox, Trump’s picks are likely loyal to him, but they are first and foremost devoted to making America great again!
In his first term, Trump was entirely too trusting of establishment Republicans and lifelong politicians with largely traditional, mediocre, and even boring nominees. New to Washington in 2016, Trump sought to work within the framework of Washington and learn how things work in DC. Spied on, undermined, or thwarted at almost every turn, Trump learned all too well how Washington works, so he won’t make that mistake again.
While the suspiciously irregular 2020 presidential election was aggravating and frustrating, it allowed Trump to step back from the scene and better assess the grave challenges of deep-rooted Washington corruption. Had he served his second term in 2020, Trump would have been busy fixing the personnel mistakes from his first term, but with a catastrophic four-year break that allowed Trump to recalibrate his approach, his nonsequential second term will be much more consequential and indeed is looking transformational.
There is a lot of chatter about Trump’s new cabinet, but one thing is abundantly clear, Trump is absolutely determined to drain the swamp this time. Trump’s fresh-faced nominees are being branded as disrupters and reformers with some chagrin by press and pundits, but the American people are elated. They want our oppressive overfed federal government disrupted. Joy and hope are spreading across the country because Americans are no longer resigned to an ever-growing ineffective inefficient federal government, Trump aided by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will finally gut the useless federal fat crushing Constitutional governance.
Americans are sick and tired of failing government and electing new politicians to only get the same excuses. The undisputed disrupter and outsider, Trump is selecting a cabinet of independent thinkers not at all beholden to special interests and not concerned about a political career. These are largely successful folks in their own right. Unlike most politicians, they don’t want the job, they want to do the job.
To the cheers of most Americans, Trump and his cabinet will disrupt the federal leviathan, and they will reform the bloated bureaucracy. It’s not just about cutting waste, but also restoring Constitutional governance. Over the years, Congress and the Executive have ceded too much power to federal agencies. To avoid controversial or unpopular issues, Congress allows agencies to make regulations like laws and the Executive allows agencies to enforce their made-up regulations beyond their authority. Thereby the people suffer under an unaccountable bureaucracy, Trump and his team will liberate us from this federal tyranny.
Trump’s talented cabinet, policies, and leadership will get America back on the right path, but his dogged determination to slash the federal government will have generational positive ramifications. The federal government particularly some rogue agencies like the CIA, DOD, DOJ, EPA, and FBI are out of control! They have come to serve themselves to the point they will utterly disregard or subvert our elected officials. This is not just slighting some Congressman or even the president; they are our elected representatives, so snubbing them is disrespecting the American people. Cutting the federal government down to size will return the power to the people where it belongs.
The prospects for the incoming Trump Administration are exciting as he and his talented team will implement America first policies. The enthusiasm is palpable, and the optimism is spreading. Trump’s cabinet appointees are brilliant choices but also visionary nominations. Generally, almost all young (30s, 40s, & 50s), they are not the expected politicians in waiting or successors from the party’s establishment stable. They are not particularly politically connected to power, but they are devoted to making America great again.
Skipping the expected line of succession, Trump is circumventing the ruling elite in both parties and undercutting their perennial power. Trump is creating the next generation of great American leaders not beholden to party but rather devoted to the Constitution and the American people. Trump is just getting started, but he is already setting the stage for his legacy by passing power to a new generation who will carry out and carry on his policies.
This time Trump will make America great again for this and the next generation!
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9).
