On May 16, Facing Life TV will spotlight the special relationship between 6-year-old Down syndrome child Chloe Kondrich and Andy LaRoche of the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The show "Facing Life Head-on" — which will air the feature — reaches 100 million homes in the U.S. and Canada. The show's host is Brad Mattes.

"With more than 90 percent of children diagnosed prenatally with Down syndrome being aborted, it is critical that Americans see what a priceless blessing children with Down syndrome are to families, communities, and all of humanity," said Chloe's father, Kurt Kondrich.

"This episode will share the story of what a true sports hero does to embrace children with Down syndrome," Kondrich added. "You will meet Chloe's family and hear about all the positive seeds she has planted! Please tune in, and help to spread the TRUTH!"

Kondrich said that after the episode, "There will be an opportunity to win signed Andy LaRoche items, and you can purchase DVD's of the episode."

The program will air the week of May 16 through May 22, as well as May 30 through June 5.
