Open letter to Sen. Mike Lee

Dear Senator Lee,
Tea Party conservatives are counting on you to step up and filibuster easy Senate passage of Speaker Boehner's House-approved debt deal that would raise our nation's debt ceiling by the largest increase in U.S. history.
Senate passage of the House bill will not only assure the re-election of Barack Obama — giving him carte blanche to rule like a dictator throughout his second term — but would utterly destroy our nation's financial strength, since the bill does nothing substantively to solve our country's real debt woes, but in reality multiplies them.
The "bi-partisan compromise" is a sellout of America. It cannot go through without a real fight Tuesday from principled conservatives like yourself.
At RenewAmerica.com, we fought hard for your election in 2010, to the extent we had influence, and we plead with you now to stand with principled patriots and reject the fear-mongering of the Left, as well as the cowardice of the GOP's congressional leadership.
You're doing a great job! We're relying on you Tuesday to hang in there tough for America.
