Operation Outcry — the Justice Foundation's project to reverse Roe v. Wade — is seeking testimony from women who have suffered harm from an abortion.

To date, the organization has gathered over 3,700 legally admissible testimonies. The group aims to collect one million such "declarations" to assist the Justice Foundation in challenging Roe v. Wade.

Testimonies already gathered by Operation Outcry were cited by the U.S. Supreme Court in Gonzales v. Carhart, as a result of an amicus brief filed by the Justice Foundation in behalf of Sandra Cano — who was "Mary Doe" of Doe v. Bolton, the companion case to Roe v. Wade.

Operation Outcry is undertaking to persuade the courts that large numbers of women have suffered emotional damage, such as severe depression and loss of self esteem, from having an abortion. The Supreme Court has acknowledged the reality of such harm, but said it lacks reliable data upon which to assess the extent of it.

If you would like to assist with this effort, or if you know someone who would, contact Operation Outcry at operationoutcry.org.
