Fair use notice

RenewAmerica is a not-for-profit enterprise that exists solely to educate, inform, strengthen, and mobilize grassroots Americans in the cause of preserving our republic.

RenewAmerica sells no product or service. It has no clients, customers, or employees. It accepts no paid advertising. It is affiliated with no political party, no news source, and no government agency. It seeks no tax benefits available under IRS rules for charitable organizations.

It depends entirely for its success upon the sacrifice of time and energy of its staff and participants, the free-will donations of its supporters, and the Providence of God.

Its primary goal is to multiply the influence of principled organizations, and it may therefore, from time to time, support selected causes, citizen initiatives, and candidates (regardless of party affiliation) that are closely aligned with RenewAmerica's ideals — ideals derived almost exclusively from our nation's founding documents, namely the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, and from the biblical principles that undergird them.

In pursuing these idealistic purposes, RenewAmerica is committed to being as free as legally permissible from governmental, institutional, and special-interest control or interference, and thus is decidedly simple, non-commercial, and altruistic in the highest sense of the term — meaning, it exists wholly to strengthen and preserve the best of American society. In so doing, it seeks no particular advantage for itself, and is concerned only with educating, upbuilding, and helping others.

In pursuing these ends, our overriding objective is to "secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity" (Preamble to the Constitution).

Upon this expression of selfless mission and purpose, RenewAmerica believes it has a legitimate "fair-use" interest that entitles it to reasonable use of copyrighted material.

Accordingly, this website contains copyrighted material the use of which has not been specifically authorized by the copyright owner. We are making such material available in an effort to advance understanding of environmental, political, human rights, economic, democratic, scientific, and social justice issues, etc. — and to encourage open, free, and informed citizen participation in the political process, of the sort that is the duty of all Americans. We believe this constitutes a "fair use" of such copyrighted material as provided in section 107 of the U.S. Copyright Law.

In accordance with Title 17 U.S.C. Section 107, the material on this site is distributed without profit to those who have expressed a prior interest in receiving the information for research and educational purposes.
