Why homo-marriage will bring America into direct conflict with God

During this election cycle in the United States the issues cited and heralded as the 'most important' are, security and prosperity.

Both candidates for president are using the same rhetoric and both claim they will bring security and great prosperity to us all – if they are elected.

Not to despair, Vice Presidential candidate Mike Pence this week reminded supporters in a speech that the Republican platform was entirely pro-life and inferred that more conservative judges will be chosen under a Trump administration. Conservative appointments in the Supreme Court may be a veiled reference to encourage legislation to defend traditional marriage that will not be overturned by a liberal court.

No one wants to be the voice of gloom, but some people would rather deal with the truth, especially as it pertains to what really is ailing the nation.

The issues of abortion and gay marriage have largely been tabled by both candidates and relegated to hot button social issues that no one is seriously tackling. It's as if the glorified nine judges of the whole earth have spoken and who would dare to question.

Anyone seriously warning about the push of the LGBT and other efforts to legitimize homosexuality is labeled a homophobe or worse. This writer has been referred to as a "rabid homophobe." I prefer to call myself a rabid voice for the truth of scripture. It is in the scriptures that we see that the warning against the profusion of homosexuality is given on three distinct levels.

There is no support for those who think warnings do not exist or they are obscure passages.

There are only two choices that can be made, one is to say God has changed or he no longer means what he first said. The second option is just to deny the existence of God completely.

Since not believing in God does not make him vanish, we should at the very lowest level of responsibility take the time to consider what the Almighty has said about this sin he calls – an "abomination."

Only modern man has constructed the flimsiest of excuses for their worst behaviors by creating a moral code based on the current acceptability or trend of any particular behavior. That is a wall that will tumble like a house of cards in the end. To wit:

"And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God." (Lu 16: 15)

The three levels of scripture that deal with the abomination of sodomy are found in the Old Testament Mosaic law, the New Testament moral teachings of Christ and his apostles, and the prophetic parts of scripture which are pre-written history.

The word, abomination, is used 136 times in the Old Testament and six times in the New Testament; we will not list every one of these, but only those that are pertinent to homosexuality.

At times we hear even the Christians arguing that sin is sin and there are no levels of sin. But even in our approach to sin in a secular world we see that is not valid. You may call the police to stop the guy in the neighborhood from playing his music too loud, but we don't compare that to the act of murder or rape.

Old Testament Mosaic Law

"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
(Le 20 15)

New Testament Moral teachings

"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient."
(Ro 1: 26-28)

Prophetic Message of the Bible

"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God."
(1 Co 6: 9-10 NAS)

It is the prophetic side of the warning against the perversion of sodomy that calls for further review.

Like all perversion there is a twisting, an inversion or a complete turnabout of the truth until the falsehood, or the lie, becomes the accepted norm. From something the bible says is shameful we arrive at "gay pride." For something that creates a bondage that starts with curiosity and travels up the ladder all the way to demonic intrusion, we have found public acceptance as a proof that the gays have been freed or de-closeted.

It is a greater perversion that Pastor Scott Lively has been charged by left wing wackos for crimes against humanity for his addressing homosexuality in Uganda, while the real satanically inspired crime against humanity is that we actually encourage people, including children, to accept a lifestyle that will ruin their eternity and any chance at redemption in the last day.

The most serious side of this thing we call an "abomination"

The desire to play with words, connotations and denotations drive those seeking justifications for their worst behavior is to take the weakest definition of "abomination" and apply it to everything including sodomy, and any other perversion they care to name. They will often make reference to Leviticus 11: 10-11 which declare that the Jewish people were not to eat certain shellfish because their discarded carcasses were an abomination.

The definition of something that is just disgusting to have laying around and stinking things up is not what the bible is referencing when it speaks of the abomination of sodomy – this is definitions 101.

In fact the greatest abomination ever spoken of in the bible has not happened yet, but when it does, it will leave the world desolate and in full conflict with a God who is about to shake the earth to its very foundations.

Covered in both old and new testaments it is the final perversion. It is a time when the man who is directly guided by the god of this world (Satan) will present himself as the God of heaven and he will demand that the world worship him.

It is called "The Abomination of Desolation." (Mr 13: 14)

This is an abomination or sin that is so perverted that it makes God sick to disgust and leaves the world in complete desolation.

When this sin or any sin leading up to it is called an abomination, it is the indicator that mankind has crossed the line into full reprobation and the only thing remaining is the full judgment of a Holy God.

Two things are certain. The last days push of the old serpent who has always kept man saturated with pride even as they dry up from a lack of spiritual discernment. He has managed to hoodwink an entire generation into thinking that a pop culture trend has replaced the counsel of their very Creator.

In the prophet Jonah's day, God told the prophet that he was preaching to a city of sixty thousand people who couldn't discern between their left hand and their right hand, (Jonah 4: 11) This nation has been swallowing Satan's tripe for over 50 years now, we are not exempt from his demonically induced deceptions.

The other thing that cannot be altered is that God will not always be patient with us. There is a pay day someday as Dr. R. G. Lee is so noted for saying. It is near, at the doors.

Our college students are fearful of "micro-aggressions" on their college campuses, how prepared are they for the approaching macro-rebuke?

For the rest of us, the fact that Hillary Clinton remains so high in the polls is proof enough that reprobates now have their own political party.

It takes no great prophet to give answer to America's sinking morality – all that is needed is reference to the single most immutable warning to all men, of all time – to wit:

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." (Ga 6: 7)
