Although no shots have been fired as yet, a fierce battle is nonetheless being waged for the hearts and souls of Americans. The combatants, locked in a life-or-death struggle, are two antithetical worldviews. On one side is America's traditional Christian-based worldview, selected by our Founders as the moral rock on which to anchor our Constitutional Republic. First among its principles is the sanctity of life firmly grounded on the unique concept of man as person because the spiritual image-bearer of the One God in three Persons. This historically unique concept gave birth to the "belief in the unique dignity of human beings," an absolute necessity if individual liberty and equality before the law are to exist. All together this concept is,

"...the force that created Western civilization, where citizens do not exist for the state but the state exists for the individuals. Even kings, presidents, prime ministers, and army generals cannot be allowed to trample upon an individual and his or her rights." (Truth and Transformation: A Manifesto for Ailing Nations, Vishal Mangalwadi, pp. 12-13)

The second combatant is a malevolent neo-pagan and pantheist alien to our shores. It is based in arrested emotional development, malignant envy, wrath, and dark fantasies of impossible equality made possible by the dehumanization of man:

"Darwin put an end to the belief that the animal and vegetable species bear no relation to one another (and) that they were created by God, and hence immutable." (Vladimir Lenin, Fatal Fruit, Tom DeRosa, p. 9)

David Horowitz said of this malevolent alien that it bears a,

"...deep hatred for the human norm and an unquenchable desire for its annihilation...the inhumanity of the radical ambition was what made the Communist epoch so consummate in its evil...an agenda whose aim is to erase the human past and remake the human soul." (The Politics of Bad Faith, discoverthenetwork.org).

Though this evil worldview wraps itself in an egocentric banner of reason and evolutionary science, it is in actuality a system of extreme narcissism, moral imbecility, sophistry and inhumane philosophy, which functionally speaking, serves as a religion. This religion, were it given a name, would be called Evolutionary Humanism or Religious Naturalism.

As all religiously held belief systems do, it informs us of who our creator is (spontaneously generated or eternally existing matter) and how we were created (evolution: the universal life force). It tells us who we are: soulless, slightly smarter human apes, lacking both free will and morally informed conscience. It relates to us the story of what went wrong with us and the world (an incompetent Creator; a Gnostic Demiurge). We are told that the human ape species was originally naturally good (Gospel of Rousseau), and the source of evil by which we became oppressed and unconscious of our inner divinity (the fall) lies with the Holy Trinity, hence within His inerrant Revealed Word (Scripture) and our traditional Biblical-based social institutions (Gospel of Rousseau). This is simply a euphemistic way of saying that the Holy Trinity, His Creation, Original Sin, laws, and social institutions are sources of evil.

Finally, as religions are wont to do, it tells us through a plan of redemption and salvation what must be done to redeem the fallen world and human apes. Redemption requires that all power and authority be collectivized and placed into the hands of god-like Gnostic pagan elites, the "chosen ones" who possess infinite intellectual powers and will actualize the plan of salvation. This will lead to the creation of an earthly paradise (Kingdom of Man) populated with the New Man, the scientifically engineered Frankenstein of the elites.

There are a variety of evolutionary humanisms or "liberation ideologies," and all of them are variations on a theme: history ascends in a series of evolutionary stages, and as each stage ends, its' social institutions and mores must be shed...as a reptile sheds its old skin...lest the old ways impede evolutionary progress towards perfection. This myth was dubbed the "Escalator Myth" by British philosopher Mary Midgley.

Also known as the "myth of progress," or revolutionary "change," the Escalator Myth,

"...is a secularization of the Christian teaching of divine providence." (How Now Shall We Live? Charles Colson and Nancy Pearcey, p. 232)

All liberation ideologies are grounded in religious naturalism, evolutionary biology (common descent from a primordial blob) and evolutionary cosmologies. Whereas faithful, orthodox Christianity teaches that the Trinity is the author and finisher of history (which is moving towards the Kingdom of God), that the Bible is the Triune Gods' plan of redemption and salvation, and that fallen man can only be saved through the grace of Jesus Christ, in contrast, the Escalator Myth teaches that we are evolving towards a utopian paradise on earth, a Kingdom of Man which will be created through the godlike ingenuity of Gnostic elites.

"Moderns are dreaming of systems so perfect that no one will need to be good." T.S. Eliot

The humanist plan of redemption and salvation is contained within various 'gospels' written by 'elite' men who are revered as 'enlightened' voices of scientism (the new Bible) and divine reason. Among these worshipped notables are Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Francis Galton, Darwin, Herbert Spencer, Karl Marx, Engels, Hegel, Teilhard de Chardin, Alfred Kinsey, and Margaret Sanger.

Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, preached a salvation doctrine that advocated both sexual libertinism and abortion and damned Original Sin, "He created them male and female" (Gen. 5:2), Christian morality and all God ordained norms and institutions. She believed that if society would jettison the Revealed Word as well as the moral constraints and prohibitions which prevent the release of pent-up inner energies most of our societies' larger evils would disappear. Sanger enthusiastically proclaimed that it is within the power of the 'chosen ones' to scientifically re-engineer the souls of human beings in order to create a New Man and a perfect civilization that would "transmute and sublimate the everyday world into a realm of beauty and joy." (ibid)

In other words, to a female whose morals were those of a tramp, any sort of sex, even that of adults rutting on children is simply an act of releasing inner energies.

According to the Gospel of Sanger, complete freedom to fornicate, and now today, complete freedom to engage in sodomy, lesbianism, bestiality and sadomasochism coupled with complete freedom to prevent conception or to get rid of newly conceived human life is the shining path by which human nature would evolve (be transformed) into a New Man

By Sangers' account, the politics of revolution is the constant struggle to liberate our bodies and minds from the shackles of the Holy Trinity and Biblical morality. She adamantly opposed "the moralists" who preached abstinence, self-denial, and self-control and described Christian morality as "the cruel morality of self-denial, and sin." Christian morality and sin must be thrown down, crushed, and replaced with sexual liberation. According to Sanger, only through release of sexual energies can a person find "inner peace and security and beauty." (ibid, p. 238)

The redemptive power of unrestrained libido, by Sanger's reckoning, will make man godlike. Through the "release and channeling of the primordial inner energies of man" men and women can evolve into godlike geniuses. In this twisted version of the Garden of Eden story, it's not the fruit of the tree that makes us godlike; it's the release of sexual energies. (ibid)

Another preacher of Sanger's Gospel is Robert Rimmer, author of "The Harrad Experiment" (1966). His book fueled the sexual liberation movement and was for an entire generation of college attendees, recommended reading in courses dealing with marriage and family. Like Sanger, Rimmer preached that promiscuity was the means for taking "one more step up the evolutionary ladder...for evolving into a new form of man or woman." Sex, he wrote, is "actually an act of worship." (ibid, p. 240)

Yet another contemporary of Sangers' is Mary Calderone, architect of sex education in all public schools and former director of the Sex Information and Education Council of the U.S. (SIECUS). In a 1968 article Calderone openly admitted the real agenda of sex educators when she wrote, "What kind (of person) do we want to produce to take the place of human nature as we know it today?" (ibid, p. 241)

In the Gospel of Sanger, complete sexual freedom was but one method for creating the New Man, elevating the 'chosen' to the status of genius, and creating paradise on earth. The other necessary step was in either preventing new life from being conceived or by getting rid of it once it had been conceived. This means birth control pills and devices, sterilization, eugenics, and abortion, otherwise known as family planning.

The latter step serves two primary purposes in the evolutionist's scheme of things. The first revolves around preventing the birth of what Sanger termed "unfit" and "dysgenic" breeding stock. Among these were Italians, Jews, blacks, epileptics, the disabled, the diseased, mental defectives, and Catholics. Catholics of that time were evil because they were staunch sanctity of life supporters. In the view of todays' sexual liberationists, all faithful Christian defenders of the Genesis account and sanctity of life supporters are considered to be evil fanatics, hateful bigots, homophobes, and mentally unbalanced anti-science superstitious morons.

The second purpose is really an act – it's the ultimate act of rebellion against the Holy Trinity, His inerrant Revealed Word and all that's true, virtuous, natural and decent.

"Unless we know ourselves to be full of pride, ambition, concupiscence, weakness, wretchedness and unrighteousness, we are truly blind." (Pensees, Pascal, p. 229)

Omnipotence, in the case of wretched, pride-inflated, truly blind, scientifically enlightened "elites" comes from the mass delusion of having power over the Holy Trinity and His Revealed Word so as to give their own words the active force of the Triune Gods creative words. In this way, god-men believe they can unweave and refashion creation, human beings, Scripture, gender, the family and society as needed. They can decide who lives and who must die, what we may have or not have, whether we are strictly male and female or non-conforming gender-free beings and what we are allowed to know and not know. This is a sociopaths' power trip.

Sanger's malice-fueled megalomania was on display when she proclaimed,

"I believe...woman was enslaved by the world machine, by sex conventions, by motherhood and.... child-rearing (and) by middle class morality, by customs, laws and superstitions."

Only in the shriveled soul and darkly disordered mind of a malignant narcissist would it make sense to rebel against the Holy Trinity and his or her own inner person (soul/spirit) and society's norms by declaring a right to "be lazy," "to be an unmarried mother," "to murder," "to create," "to love," and "to freely release inner energies." Her oxymoronic illogic can be restated as: "Libido dominandi is the path to glory."

In observation of the 'elites' malevolent obsession with destroying the hated Christian-based order, re-engineering the soul of man and creating a paradise on earth David Horowitz wrote,

"The century behind us is littered with the corpses of millions who died on the cross of such new worlds...the quest for a 'new man' and 'new woman' consumed the lives of entire nations." (The Politics of Bad Faith)

The systematic torture and murder of millions of men, women, and children in the former Soviet Union was primarily facilitated by two things. First by 'scientifically' dehumanizing all people who were objects of hate, resentment and envy (enemies of the State). This was achieved by application of the Darwinian biological and zoological strain of thinking that ultimately enabled Marxists to justify their monstrous crimes against humanity. Second, by maliciously whipping up and enflaming the evil that resides in the hearts of the 'oppressed classes.' In America, 'oppressed classes' are mainly 'gays,' lesbians, non-conforming gender-free beings, Satanists, witches, pagans, illegals, certain people of 'color,' Muslims, criminals and pregnant women in need of liberation by way of abortion:

"....murder is once for all forbidden; so even the child in the womb, while yet the mother's blood is still being drawn on to form the human being, it is not lawful to destroy. To forbid birth is only quicker murder. It makes no difference whether one take away the life once born or destroy it as it comes to birth. He is a man, who is to be a man, the fruit is always present in the seed." (Tertullian, Apologeticus IX.- 6, 8)

Sanger believed that abortion (murder) was a necessary and practical method for regulating the breeding stock of the next generation. The evil initiated by her has since swollen into the murderous abomination known as the pro-choice movement. (The Deadliest Monster, J.F. Baldwin, p. 191)

According to American Life League, the total number of abortions in the U.S. from 1973 to 2011 is 54.5 million plus. But these statistics include only surgical and medical abortions because many contraceptive measures,

"....are abortifacients (drugs that induce or cause abortions), it is important not to overlook the number of children killed by chemical abortions. Since 1965, an average of 11 million women have used abortifacient methods of birth control in the United States at any given time. Using formulas based on the way the birth control pill works, pharmacy experts project that about 14 million chemical abortions occur in the United States each year, providing a projected total of well in excess of 610 million chemical abortions between 1965 and 2009." (Abortion, all.org)

Evil Ideas and Wills Turned Toward Evil Unleash Evil into the World

At the end of WW II, dispirited atheist, communist, socialist, progressive and Christian thinkers began to analyze the crisis the war had precipitated and to reconstruct the civilization it had threatened. Out of these efforts arose the "new conservative" or traditionalist wing of the postwar conservative intellectual movement in America. (The Conservative Intellectual Movement in America, George H. Nash, p. 30)

Their penetrating analysis of the ideas underlying and fueling scientific communism and socialism such as the total immanent society (omnipotent, all-knowing society), Social Darwinism, positivism, rationalism, evolutionary naturalism, materialism, collectivism, atomistic liberalism and underlying them all, hatred of the Trinity, led many of them to declare that evil ideas working through the minds of men had ultimately unleashed the catastrophic evils that had enveloped much of the world. Upon this realization many of them either returned or converted to orthodox Christian theism.

For example, Douglas Hyde, an English ex-Communist and convert to Catholic Christianity emphatically declared:

"The sanest things on earth are those for which the allegedly reactive, unscientific, obscurantist Church stands and for which she is doing battle." (ibid, p. 52)

John Hallowell wrote in 1950:

"Christianity is the most complete and perfect revelation of the nature of God and of God's will for man..."

Faithful, orthodox Christianity was the unifying thesis of Hallowell's interpretation of modern scientific/evolutionary political philosophy:

"....the basic insights of the Christian faith provide the best insights we have into the nature of man and of the crisis in which we find ourselves. That crisis is the culmination of modern man's progressive attempt to deny the existence of a transcendent or spiritual reality and of his progressive failure to find meaning and salvation in some wholly immanent conception of reality....Only through a return to faith in God, as God revealed Himself to man in Jesus Christ, can modern man and his society find redemption from the tyranny of evil." (ibid, p. 53)

The Christianity which Hallowell, Hyde and other early conservatives defended was not the liberal or modernist evolutionary Christianity of the Social Gospel and Gnostic immanent Protestantism. Nor would it be the evolutionary theism, progressive creationism or any of the myriad of twisted theologies posing as Christianity today. What early Conservatives proposed and defended was orthodox Christianity grounded in what for many early conservatives was the deepest, most terrifying lesson of WW II: the lesson of evil, of original sin:

"We must restore to our vocabulary a word discarded long ago, namely sin
," asserted Hallowell. To Richard Weaver, no concept gave deeper insight into the "enigma that is man" than original sin. Evil was not just a "bad dream" an "accident of history," or "the creation of a few antisocial men." Evil is a "subtle, pervasive, protean force," and original sin was a "parabolical expression" of this "immemorial tendency of man to do the wrong thing when he knows the right thing." (ibid, 53)

Eliseo Vivas concurred. Inside every man and woman he said, lay "brutality" and a "natural tendency" to define value in his own interests (moral relativism).

In "The Problem of Pain," C.S. Lewis concurs,

"Man is now a horror to God and to himself...not because God made him so but because he has made himself so by the abuse of his free will...Evil comes from the abuse of free will."

In denying their own sin nature, evolutionary 'elite' pagans have become the embodiment of the very thing they are in denial of: the evil within themselves. And this is why they have become horrors to both the Holy Trinity and man.
