New lies for old as the workers revolt

Lies about the economy are coming from three main sources: the government, the media, and the labor unions. The purpose is to save the Biden presidency.

Socialist scholar Paul LeBlanc's article "Socialist Convergence and the Green New Deal" is relevant here, for it outlined how “green” economic policies would provide the transition from capitalism “to a socialist democracy.”

The Biden administration has tried to accomplish this, but working men and women are not buying it. They have experienced the reality of an economy which has seen prices increase 17.6 percent since Biden took office.

Nevertheless, inside-the-beltway, publications are cheerleading for Bidenomics, with Politico declaring that “The blowout job growth in January adds fuel to President Joe Biden's pitch to voters that the economy is solidly recovering under his watch.”

Similarly, a February 2 CNN report blared “Another shockingly good jobs report shows America's economy is booming.”

The reality is something else. Two of my good friends, specialists in computer technology and high tech, described to me in stark terms how bad the economy really is. The husband is facing a lay-off at a research firm and a very difficult time finding a good-paying job.

To understand this fact, consider a report from Challenger, Gray & Christmas, a firm that helps employees find new jobs or careers. It begins, “U.S.-based employers announced 82,307 cuts in January, a 136 % increase from the 34,817 cuts announced one month prior.”

The second paragraph declares, “With the exception of last January’s total, this is the highest number of job cuts announced in January since January 2009, when 241,749 cuts were announced in the first month of that year.”

If you haven’t heard about this report, consider yourself a victim of government lies in the form of statistics.

When job figures were revised downward, meaning America added 306,000 fewer jobs, CNN still proclaimed “the labor market is still hot.”

The lies are not convincing the American people. “Biden trails GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump on major policy and personal comparisons, including by more than 20 points on which candidate would better handle the economy,” reports NBC News, citing new poll numbers.

Every week good paying jobs are being destroyed under Bidenomics. UPS, for example, said it will lay off 12,000 employees, after a “difficult and disappointing year.”

Interestingly, the media are suffering from Bidenomics. The publication Inside Radio reports that the year-to-date (2023) total cuts in the news media included layoffs at liberal organs such as NPR, The Washington Post, BuzzFeed News, Vox, and the Texas Tribune.

The Washington Post initiated its “headcount reduction goal” of 240 job cuts through voluntary buyouts. Anther outlet, The Messenger, a “source for trusted and unbiased news and information,” went completely bankrupt.

Overall, the firm Resume Builder conducted a survey of businesses and found that

  • 38% of companies say they are likely to have layoffs in 2024

  • 52% are likely to implement a hiring freeze in 2024.

Despite this, big labor unions are backing Biden because the over-paid leaders are allied with the socialist-communist movement in America.

United Auto Workers (UAW) president Shawn Fain Fain, who wears the T-shirt proclaiming “Eat the Rich,” makes over $200,000 a year and endorses Biden while acknowledging “A great majority of our members will not vote for President Biden.”

Trump called Fain a “dope,” adding that he is “selling the automobile industry right into the big, powerful hands of China,” but in fact Fain knows what he is doing.

Jeff Mordock, the White House reporter for the Washington Times, writes that “The UAW’s leadership and ties to socialism date back to the late 1930s when Homer Martin, an avowed socialist, ran the union. Although labor experts say Mr. Fain’s rhetoric doesn’t rise to the level of socialism, it marks the first time a UAW president has depicted union efforts as a battle of the classes since socialists were running it.”

These “labor experts” have missed the fact that Fain’s election was “heavily supported by the Democratic Socialists of America,” reports Trevor Loudon

The Communist People’s World highlights National Education Association (NEA) President Becky Pringle, who made $495,787, as another leading “progressive.” Under the leadership of this self-described “fierce social justice warrior,” the 3-million member NEA has endorsed Biden for re-election, insisting he is “lowering costs for working families” and “rebuilding the middle class.”

The NEA is participating in the “Black Lives Matter at School nationwide week of action” during February 5–9, 2024. The dedication of BLM to the destruction of the nuclear family is well-known, but the militant lesbian orientation of two of the founders, now called “queerness,” is usually not highlighted.

On February 5, the NEA’s “partners” at the Zinn Education Project kicked off the week of action by hosting an online discussion, “Everyday Solidarity: Interracial Organizing Stories from The Sum of Us” with author Heather McGhee.

McGhee served as president of the group Demos, a “progressive” outlet supporting the national Democratic Party, from 2014 through June, 2018. Its funders include George Soros.

Zinn is Howard Zinn, a secret Communist Party member. America's Survival, Inc. obtained Zinn's FBI file and posted its contents.

Not all “progressives,” however, are backing Biden. The “Roots Action” group thinks he is a loser in November because he has not been “progressive” enough.

Since the lies about economic “progress” under Bidenomics are falling flat and since the claims that Trump was a Russian agent also fell flat, having been exposed as lies disseminated by the FBI, the new charge is that Trump is a fascist.

Smearing enemies such as Trump as a fascist or Nazi is a favorite communist trick and has been used extensively by the Revolutionary Communist Party. It seems to be the only trick the Biden supporters – at least those still supporting him – have left.

The feminists running the “Women’s March” movement are holding a February 5 training session “on how to talk to your loved ones, neighbors, and networks about freedom over fascism.” It features Anat Shenker-Osorio, a communications specialist who has been involved in “progressive electoral and policy victories across the globe” and has “delivered her findings packed” in venues such as the Congressional Progressive Caucus and the Soros-funded Open Society Foundations.

You can expect Biden to drop his attacks on “MAGA Republicans” and pick up the charge that he is standing in the way of fascism.
