Surge of illegal immigration along with our growing federal deficit will hurt our younger generation

By now it clearly appears that not only our government leaders but many Americans don’t fully realize the negative effects of the following:

  • Massive numbers (in the millions) of illegal entries of immigrants forge their way into this country’s southern borders illegally…

  • Huge (trillion dollar) federal deficits that we (U.S. taxpayers) have to pay each year will someday overcome this country economically…

Sadly, there is little call from our leaders to address these issues. What people don’t realize are the following:

Once in this country Illegal immigrants often enlist for federal aid. As non-taxpayers they are not only violating federal law by being here, but many of these illegal aliens are taking lower paying jobs away from many Americans including many young people who are seeking first time jobs.

Further, the federal government is obligated to pay quarterly interest payments on our growing federal deficit to bond holders. With a balance around 30 trillion dollars, this is a huge, growing federal expense. While the interest rates are now very low, THEY WILL INCREASE over time. This means that ultimately the young generation will have to regularly pay through their federal taxes to fund increased payments to service our national debt. If interest rates ever spiral out of control, like they did in the late 1970s, we are in BIG trouble.

All this is why we MUST elect federal and state government officials who will attend to these matters. This means:

  • Balancing federal and state budgets (instead of financing further deficits)

  • Enforcing immigration law and complete the building of a border wall
