The dirty rotten sham of higher education

If you think college is expensive now, wait until it’s free. Well, we are finding out that higher education has already become too expensive and at the same time becoming more and more useless and worthless. Not to mention, government spending has also become a massive money laundering scheme; and now the Biden Administration is using their magic money printing machine to bribe voters. Our once vaunted ivy covered colleges have slid into cesspools of political extremism devoid of academic rigors and independent thought in favor of mindless propaganda and radical intolerance.

Over the past few decades, government funding has grossly overinflated the cost of a university education and also drastically decreased its value. True value is timeless. For centuries, an ounce of gold could and still can purchase a high quality men’s suit, fining dining for four, and you still have some money left over. Up until the early 1980s, a college student could get a summer job and save enough money to pay for books and tuition for the coming school year. No more; not even close. Depending on the university, a college student needs 3 to 30 times what they can earn over the summer. Cost and value have lost any correlation.

Colleges have abandoned higher education in pursuit of ever increasing market share. The greater share they seek is the youth of young Americans. High School has become little more than a holding pattern graduating thousands of kids with no discernible skills, no work ethic, and no clue of what opportunities exist. So, they must go to Community College or some University to actually learn a marketable skill. However, the goal is not education but rather quantity; they want more young people in school for longer.

Vocational training should be in High School; tradesman don’t need to wait until their twenties. Why are Community Colleges producing thousands of cosmetologists and massage therapists? Universities are not satisfied with accountants, attorneys, doctors, and engineers, so they make up all manner of useless “whatever studies” degrees with little future beyond selling cellular phones just so they can collect more tuition. It’s become a scam to waste your time pursuing pointless degrees and then leave you in crushing debt with no real potential to pay off your student loans.

Beyond the myriad of silly studies, colleges have also replaced education with indoctrination. Every course is imbued with humanism, relativism, racial revisionism of history, gender fluidity and perversion, social justice, and simple socialism. Our colleges are filled with radical leftists teaching our children to hate this country and everything it was founded on.

The pathetic irony and insult to injury is these extremist socialist professors enjoy incredibly inflated salaries by the virtue of our bloated governments taxing capitalists and hardworking Americans. Our governments are literally laundering tax dollars to prop up progressive hives of propaganda and pay off the leftists fabricating the fake academics to justify their hopelessly flawed concepts of socialism and “wokeism” to destroy this country.

One of the nefarious schemes to lure young Americans into dead end higher education programs is the ease and ubiquity of student loans. Colleges love student loans because it’s guaranteed government money and governments don’t care about cost, so colleges can charge whatever they want because easy money is readily available. That’s why higher education costs have far outpaced any other sector and become just plain stupid expensive.

Now comes the Biden Administration with a cynical ploy to bribe voters for the midterm elections with student loan forgiveness. By making college essentially free, they are only encouraging colleges to raise their prices even more. By simply wiping out college loan debt, the federal government is adding some $300-500 billion of funny money to an already fantastically inflated money supply – this will surely exacerbate already record inflation.

Aside from this highly inflationary move and blatant election manipulation, student loan forgiveness is acutely unfair. Many of these student loans were not for tuition but for living expenses, so all the hard working Americans that took extra jobs or went to less expensive schools to make ends meet have been cheated for doing the right thing. And worst of all, average Americans who could not go to college but rather went to work are now punished by having to pay for the college of those who took the easier route. That’s patently unfair.

This is the height of privilege. Blue collar workers are being forced to pay for those who went to college to get useless degrees; and those who took advantage of the easy money were also duped by unscrupulous universities to fund their largess in return for a degree with no future. Our college system has become hopelessly corrupt. It exploits unsuspecting misguided youth, it penalizes those who work and pay their way, and finally the Biden Administration is weaponizing another government institution for political purposes.

The damage to our culture and economy will be more than we now know. Those who cynically exploit higher education and ruthlessly manipulate the electorate with tax payer monies must be vanquished in the midterm elections.

“Those who are honest and fair, who refuse to profit by fraud, who stay far away from bribes, who refuse to listen to those who plot murder, who shut their eyes to all enticement to do wrong” (Isaiah 33:15).
