Don't reign on our parade
By Tabitha Korol

The Jewish community is silent again, just as it was in 1938, when Hitler youths and brown-shirted thugs marched in the streets against the Jews, just as they smashed the windows of Jewish-owned stores on the night now known as Kristallnacht. The Jewish anti-Semites of all stripes have announced their intent to join the Israel Day parade on June 3, and they must be stopped. They do not come in peace.

Why are we silent? Should we concede that the UJA-Federations and Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) have been duped by the groups with names such as New Israel Fund, B'Tselem, Partners for Progressive Israel and Rabbis for Human Rights, the groups with misleading names that might as well be the modern-day Hitler Bund? These pro-Palestinian groups that feign peace support the BDS events, work to erase the only Jewish state in the world, Israel, and hope to destroy the global Jewish community. The information is widely known and on the websites. Are our leaders so incomprehensibly ignorant of their political agenda, or are they surrepticiously complicit in organizing our demise?

These Jewish community leaders that we support financially, on whom we count to represent us, on whom we rely for a modicum of representation, protection or strength on such occasions, are they so grossly misled? Ignorant? Submissive? The interlopers are not required to be granted freedom of speech at such an event, as some deceitful people will attempt to assure us. Yes, they have freedom of speech, but this is OUR event and we are the ones to decide who should attend — and not disrupt it. That's a right of all Americans. We must stand against enemies such as these, even from among our own ranks! How dare they be allowed to join the pro-Israel march? We need guts. Cut the funding. Call for a boycott of the UJA-Federation and JCRC if they betray us. Disgrace them and completely sever their money supply.

Freedom of speech is the ruse they use to push their evil agenda and to obstruct the march. The imposition of these pro-Palestinian anti-Zionists will be a form of intolerance, an act of suppression and a show of strength. This will be a call to action by these hate groups to do what they do on campuses — interrupt, riot, prevent the celebrants from following their planned agenda and from speaking to the crowd. The original celebrants have no obligation to include them, and have every right to keep the marchers safe, and the Jewish leaders are seriously betraying our people. Have the NYPD and news media been alerted to the possibilities of trouble because we won't let them Occupy and disrupt the Israel Day parade the way they Occupied Wall Street?

We must not tolerate the interlopers.

TOLERANCE OF EVIL IN THE NAME OF PEACE IS COMPLIANCE — and submission.

* If the interlopers were espousing hate against Islam, our leaders would be working to prevent their joining the June 3 march, and standing for the rights of terrorists.

* If the interlopers were espousing hate against African-Americans, our Jewish leaders would be working to keep them away and beat off the KKK.

* If the interlopers were espousing hate against the Palestinians, our Federations would no doubt have them removed from the premises and distributing humanitarian aid to Israel's sworn enemy.

But when the hate is directed at the Jews, even our own people turn tail and run; they remain quiet and, indeed, insist on our obeisance. How dare the Federations open the door for these enemies of Israel, permitting the anti-Semites to have their way? If the Federations want to continue to be victims of anti-Semitism and hatred, claiming the moral high ground, then that is not the moral high ground. Standing up to Nazis, Jew-haters, and anti-Semites is the only moral high ground.

Will they also allow banners of Death to Israel, Apartheid Israel, Boycott Israel, and Death to Jews, in the name of freedom of speech? If there's one speaker at the podium, speaking on behalf of Israel, will our fearless leaders be quiet as he/she is heckled into oblivion.

TO THOSE IN THE JEWISH COMMUNITY, KNOW THIS... We are in the early-to-mid stages of spreading the Islamic hatred of Jews in America, using the Palestinian propaganda of victimhood as their sword for destruction. You were quiet when Occupy Wall Streeters espoused their hate of Israel. You were quiet when the week of Israel Apartheid accusations took place throughout our universities. You said nothing when the Jewish and Christian presidents of the Universities (U of California, U of Penn, Harvard, Brandeis, etc) invited speakers to boycott Israel's products and endanger the Jewish students, and quiet when Farrakhan ranted at UC Berkeley. Now they're openly killing us — as with the school children and rabbi in Toulouse, France. When will you speak and when will we protect ourseloves? When it's time to raise funds for yet another memorial?

We ask every Federation to stop these purveyors of hate from joining the Israel Day parade. We ask every Hillel leader to lead his students to bravery and pride in our heritage and our people. We must not allow the event to be distorted in America, lest this become a Germany. This is the home of the brave and the land of the free. This is the sanctuary of the world for peaceful coexistence among all people. And, as Jewish Americans, we cannot permit this hatred to take over our land. What good do you do if you do not support our very survival? Jewish leaders, if you don't want to stand with us, you're in the wrong parade.

The real tragedy is that these hate groups are diverting us from the ultimate action we must now take to protect America and Israel — to demand that the President of the United States represent his citizenry and the Constitution by immediately bombing Iran's infrastructure — the threat to civilization. The signs that should be carried at the Israel Day parade should say, "President Obama, it is not Israel's mission to fight a global threat for the rest of the world. It is America's responsibility as the Leader of the Free World."

I hope that you also call your Jewish leaders and say we need thousands of signs to be held by those who march and those who watch so that we get media coverage, embarrass this President's inaction for our ally, and support Netanyahu when he asks us "Why does Israel have to face Iran alone?" Please contact Committee for a Pro-Israel Day Parade through Beth Gilinsky of National Conference on Jewish Affairs, 212-726-1124, or Lori Lowenthal Marcus, President of Z Street, 610-664-1148, and make our concerns known.
