We are nearing the end of the second month of the most crucial time in American History. The 2010 midterm elections are the "hope and change" the American people want and demand. Let's not give up yet. Proceed ahead at ramming speed. Here is more news on the political front to digest.

Stimulus Anniversary.

One year ago President Obama signed the "American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009," popularly known as the Stimulus Act, into law. Obama insists that the stimulus is working, but we just haven't seen proof of that in the economic data. Source: Schiff for Senate

Tea Party Supporters Backing Hayworth Over McCain!

One of the largest Tea Party groups in America, Tax Day Tea Party, reports on their online pol. Over 77% of respondents back JD Hayworth over McCain. In the comments section, over 90% are in support of Hayworth or against McCain!

NOM National Marriage News — February 19, 2010.

The District of Columbia city council passed homosexual marriage and relentlessly refused to even attempt any real religious liberty protection. Sadly, the Archdiocese of Washington announced that the Catholic Church was ending adoption and foster care services in D.C.

One small step for Wyoming.

Dudley Brown, Executive Director, National Association for Gun Rights reports, "Wyoming is on the verge of passing two key pieces of gun rights legislation. The higher the bar is set, the more pro-gun pieces of legislation pass across the country, the stronger the gun rights movement gets."

Obama Care Smokescreen Revealed.

From Steve Elliott, Grassfire Nation; House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) tipped the strategy of Democrats when he suggested during an appearance on MSNBC, that the public option is likely to re-emerge! Clyburn said, "If you're not going to do a 60-vote strategy but instead a 50-plus-one strategy, the public option could very well be a part of this package."

Three crucial Special Elections headed our way this spring!

One Nation PAC, a conservative political action committee, has launched "Spring Forward: The Time is now for the Conservative Comeback." In April and May we face three more opportunities to acquire seats traditionally held by Democrats. Polls are showing each election to be up-in-the-air. Conservatives have the chance to take available seats in Florida (Robert Wexler's seat), Hawaii (Neil Abercrombie's seat), and Pennsylvania (John Murtha's seat)!

No special rights for terrorists!

ACLJ states; Imagine you caught Osama bin Laden in Pakistan or Afghanistan — what would you do? Assure him he has the right to remain silent? Make sure he has a lawyer and if he can't afford one, buy one for him? This is not how we handle enemy combatants taking up arms against America in wartime!
