Bad news comes in twos: Democratic state house representatives go off the deep end

What is wrong with the Democratic Party?

Are they off their minds?

Yes, certifiably so.

Democratic Alabama State Representative John Rogers decided to go off on Donald Trump Jr. last week with his abhorrent comments.

"So you kill them now or you kill them later. You bring them into the world unwanted, unloved, then send them to the electric chair." According to Wikipedia he also said this: "Some parents can't handle a child with problems. It could be retarded. It might have no arms and no legs."

Nice. But Rogers didn't stop there. He advocates for abortion of the "half-deformed" as can be seen on Daily Wire Reporter Ryan Saavedra's Twitter page.

Donald Trump Jr. rightly condemned Rep. Roger's comments, calling them "stomach curling." In response, Rogers continued his tirade, claiming that Donald Trump Jr. is "crazy" and that Ivana Trump should have had an abortion. From the Western Journal:

"His mother should've aborted him when he was born," Rogers said, "He's evidently retarded or crazy. Donald Trump's son? I know there's something wrong with that boy."

Rogers' remarks are sickening. His attack was verbal, though. Representative Brian Sims decided to go a step further and get physical.

An outrageous video emerged showing Democratic Pennsylvania State Representative Brian Sims, who is supposed to represent the 182nd district in his state, videotaping himself harassing and bullying a woman who was quietly walking in front of Planned Parenthood Southeast Pennsylvania. She was not protesting. She was doing nothing but walking. The video went viral and reveals Brian Sims to be an intolerant, disgusting bigot.

Brian Sims began a tirade of insults against this woman. He attacked her Christian beliefs and her pro-life activism. Sims was relentless, repeatedly shoving his video camera in her face and harassing the poor woman, even though it was very clear she did not want to interact or engage with Sims in any manner.

He kept screaming, "Shame on you!" calling her a racist, despite the fact that throughout his rant Sims proved himself the racist and continually attacked her faith and the Catholic Church.

"We can talk about your Christian faith and how your Christian faith believes in shaming people. About how your Christian faith believes in telling people that you know what's right for their bodies. Shame on you! Shame on you! If you know who this woman is and if you can give me her address, we'll protest out in front of her home."

This is reprehensible and puts this woman's life at potential risk. If this were reversed, and a pro-life activist acted this way he or she would be arrested and imprisoned. Sims even taunts the woman, telling her to call the police. Like all hateful bigots, Brian Sims would not let up:

"There is nothing Christian about what you are doing. There is nothing kind. This is a racist act of judgment. An old white lady telling people what's right for their bodies."

At the end of the video, Brian Sims says:

"They have no business telling people of color what they think about what they do with their families, with their own family planning."

African-Americans make up about 13% of the population and have 35% of the abortions. Their overall numbers as a percentage of our population is shrinking. If, according to Brian Sims, African-Americans should have the right to kill their babies by abortion, that makes him the racist.

Rep. Sims is supposed to represent the people of his district, not himself or his own bigoted views. He should be forced to resign, immediately.

What is astonishing is that according to his bio on Wikipedia.org, Rep. Brian Sims went to good schools. He is a lawyer. He has his undergraduate degree from Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania. He has his J.D. from Michigan State University. He got elected to his district in 2012 and was re-elected in 2018. The replies on Brian Sims Twitter feed attack this poor woman. If this kind of behavior is what his constituents support, I feel sorry for the sane people who live in that district.

Where is the Democrat Party's reaction to this? Why is there no rebuke from the Presidential candidates? All I've heard is silence when Rogers statements should be widely condemned, and he should be told to resign.

Only two Democrats reacted to Rogers appalling comments. Senator Doug Jones (D-Alabama) called Rogers' comments "reprehensible" and that his rhetoric "gets more appalling each time he speaks." Governor Ivey's former press secretary, Daniel Sparkman called for Rogers' resignation. I agree.

And what about Rep. Brian Sims? If Rogers should resign, so should Sims.

The Democrats have become the party of murder and militant reactionaries. There is something seriously wrong with their leadership and platform which supports infanticide and euthanasia. And they don't seem to care or do anything to stop the madness.
