Why is the death of one public servant causing such a monumental uproar from our nation’s political elite?

In less than two weeks since Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death, one might think that with all the handwringing and gnashing of teeth, the world is coming to an end. It is not. We mourn, then get back to our lives. But this is not the case when considering RBG. Instead of being treated as a servant of American citizens just doing her role in the governmental process, she instead has been elevated to godlike status.

There has been a trend for decades in our government, particularly the legislative branch, of elevating elected officials to star status. We forget these people are civil servants who work for us. We the People are their bosses.

In general, the longer in office, which we allow through careless voting, the more power, influence, and wealth they gain. Eventually, they no longer represent us, but instead, now rule over us. After tasting of wealth and power, they are often corrupted by outside sources. Eventually they become so powerful, that it is nearly impossible to remove them. Their end goal is total control.

However, our founders wanted Supreme Court justices to be above political partisanship, and beyond the ability to be corrupted. But are they?

If RBG, and every other justice was following the “letter of the law” and abiding by their oaths, no single man or woman should noticeably stand out as a “champion” or “lion/lioness of the court.” If they wanted to be cheerleaders for pet causes, or activists for political issues, they should run for political office. No, each person would simply be doing the job as described in our constitution, with no fanfare, drawing no attention to themselves.

Specifically considering Ginsburg and the implications from her death, my last article covered some of the groups most upset, including feminists, abortion advocates, and the LGBT community. The mere fact these groups laud, revere, even idolize this woman indicate something is desperately wrong.

When state laws are overridden by the courts and new laws governing almost everything we do, think, or say come from these courts, and not the legislative body, does anybody even pay attention? Do we simply assume our government would never do anything that is not fair? The courts, not just Fox News, are supposed to be fair and balanced, but this is not the case, is it? Remember Lady Justice and her scales?

The group we did not discuss in the last article consists of the socialists/ communists in congress. They are not just upset, but outraged and ready to start a war over the empty SC seat! In my opinion, these are some of the most dangerous people in America. How so?

How about the fact that for several decades, this group of people, formerly known as the Democrat Party, is obsessed with power and control? In fact, to increase this power they will use any means necessary. Their modus operandi is that the ends justify the means, as taught by their hero, Saul Alinsky in Rules for Radicals.

The socialists/communists know that most American citizens will not support their progressive ideas. Consequently, for decades they have “shopped” for activist judges at all levels to get rulings to support their cases. When these cases go all the way to the Supreme Court, too often, the result is the tearing-down of existing law, and introduction of new “laws” not from the legislature, but from the bench. Then these court-birthed laws become the so-called “law of the land.” This means the whole legislative branch of government, the one responsible for making law, is bypassed, therefore giving us no say in the process.

These radicals have also used the entire justice system to conduct hit jobs on their enemies, something growing in popularity among our ruling elite. Just consider the endless and failed investigations led by the Obama administration into everything Trump except his bodily cavities—for over four years. So then House Speaker Nancy Pelosi decided Trump must be tried and punished anyway, and attempted to impeach him, which also failed. But Queen Nancy just recently said the House of Representatives “can impeach President Trump whenever they chose, any day of the week, for anything he does.” But in fact, she and her fellow headhunters cannot do so. The constitution says: “The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

Additionally, consider people like Lt. General Michael Flynn, and Roger Stone. Obama attack dogs went after both men, used the justice system to destroy them, and now they have been at the mercy of judges who should have recused themselves from these cases. Even after U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr told the Flynn judge to back off, the judge refused. These examples define “travesty of justice.”

If there are corrupt judges, or judges lacking the integrity to follow the mandates written in the governing document, the U.S. Constitution, then our nation suffers. Our foundation is destroyed, bill by bill, judge by judge, until our laws are re-imagined by whatever radical wind is blowing. And while our constitution gives Congress authority to oversee and impeach judges, they seldom do either.

Consequently, when we have judges like Ginsburg, who was called an advocate for LGBT and abortion rights “both on and off the bench,” there is little hope for true justice. They have no respect for the constitution, which is why so many liberals on the bench, at all levels, believe the constitution is a “living document.” But as I understand it, the U.S. Constitution is a legal contract made between our founding fathers and the citizens of the United States.

What then constitutes a contract? “A contract is a legally binding document or agreement between multiple parties.” (https://contract-law.laws.com) Contract law also has something called the Four Corners Rule which Merriam-Webster defines as: “A rule holding that if a document (as a contract, deed, or will) appears on its face to be complete, no outside evidence may be used to challenge it.” So then, a contract is a legally binding agreement between multiple parties, consisting only with what is written within the “four corners” of the document. Our constitution is a contract that basically says what it means and means what it says. Knowing law and contracts, the Founding Fathers ensured the only way the constitution could be changed is through the amendment process. Would they be surprised?!

Supreme Court justices are supposed to act as mediators to ensure the constitutionality of various laws passed by the states or U.S. Congress. When they legislate from the bench, they act outside their designated role. But then, RBG was not shy about her contempt for the constitution. For instance, she said “I would not look to the U.S. Constitution if I were drafting a constitution in the year 2012.” Hmm, I wonder where she would look? All justices take an oath to support the constitution and laws of the United States. Perhaps she had her fingers crossed while taking her oath?

However, RBG held herself in rather high regard. She could have retired during the Obama years, but chose to remain because she was certain Hillary Clinton would become the next president. Accordingly, she said, ‘If I resign any time this year, he (Obama) could not successfully appoint anyone I would like to see in the court…anybody who thinks that if I step down, Obama could appoint someone like me, they’re misguided.” Talk about hubris!

Our discussion is not yet finished. The importance of strict constructionist judges for all courts is greater than ever before. With no proper oversight, judges have free reign to cause tremendous harm! Christians are no longer free to even speak openly about our faith. Traditional values have been shredded by court decisions, not laws passed by representatives that We the People elected. Society in general has taken a giant step into perversion, brought about by courts/judges.

It makes me cringe every time the justices “decide” yet another case that strips away at our freedom. Shouldn’t we ask: Who judges the judges? On earth, it seems there is nobody, which allows them to act like little gods. But Scripture says, “There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy.” (James 4:12 NIV)

We call ourselves “one nation under God.” Let us start acting like it! We need to begin honoring God, and choosing our government representatives, and presidents – who appoint judges – according to biblical standards, instead of our petty wish lists. Otherwise, there will be NO AMERICA for anyone. Again, the new Democrat Party is pushing us towards communism, a system of total control, and denial God. Our future is our choice. Either we choose wisely or perish! To anyone willing to hear….
