American Catholics have to decide whether to stick with their pope or their country.

With his recent comments attacking America and President Trump, the Catholic Pope has aligned himself with Iran’s “Death to America” Mullahs and against the Christian Western World.

Domestically, it appears that Leo is trying to drag the Catholic Church, the largest religious body in America, into the Democratic Party camp that wants to impeach Trump and remove him from office.

Leo, leader of 1.3 billion Catholics, had a meeting with Barack Hussein Obama’s political strategist David Axelrod, who says he was “gratified and honored” and “thrilled” to spend some time with him.

Hal Lambert of Point Bridge Capital emerged to “connect the dots” and reveal a conspiracy by the “American” pope (who is from Chicago) and Barack Hussein Obama to undermine President Trump ahead of the mid-term elections. The courageous Ayaan Hirsi Ali has noticed the same thing – that Leo’s outreach to Obama was followed by an attack on President Trump and the magnificent U.S. military operation to eliminate the Iranian nuclear threat.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a convert from Islam to Christianity, has written about Pope Leo’s meeting with Axelrod and comments, “A Pope who breaks bread with partisan operatives and emerges days later to attack a sitting president has ceased, in my mind, to function as a shepherd of souls. He has become, instead, a political actor—and a graceless one at that. And this fits a recent pattern for the Vatican.”

Her above-cited column in the Daily Mail deserves to be read in its entirety but these comments are especially noteworthy: “Pope Leo has been conspicuously silent about the systematic persecution of Christians at the hands of Muslims in majority-Muslim countries. This includes the burning of churches and the slaughter of Christian communities across northern Nigeria – along with forced conversions in Pakistan and disappearances in Egypt.”

She adds, “Each of these is a direct expression of a civilizational clash that Pope Leo refuses to name.”

As she wrote those words, she noted that Leo was in Algeria “bowing at the Great Mosque of Algiers, shoes removed, pen in hand at the Golden Book.” This was described as marking the first time a pope has ever signed this book inside an Algerian mosque and was seen as an effort to promote an “alliance” between Muslims and Catholics.

The Vatican published photos and video of the visit at the world’s third largest mosque, with a caption, “Pope Leo XIV visits the Grand Mosque of Algiers, highlighting its role as a sacred space for prayer, dialogue, and the search for God.”

The Crescent Moon on a plaque outside of the mosque is the symbol of Islam and originated with the pagans.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali says Leo “long ago chose accommodation over conviction and has since devoted considerable effort to presenting that choice as a form of wisdom.” She said he ought to “to proclaim the uniqueness of Christ,” since “The incarnation, the resurrection, the insistence that God entered history at a fixed point and in a human form,” and that this unique divine intervention in human history “is the hinge on which all human existence turns.”

Instead, the Vatican is strengthening ties with the Islamic world and promoting what it calls “peace” in the Middle East by attacking America’s elimination of the Iranian nuclear threat.

Leo is the successor to Francis, who named himself after St. Francis of Assisi, who preached to birds and sang to “Brother Sun and Sister Moon.”

On the global stage, Francis negotiated Obama’s normalization of relations with communist Cuba (Trump reversed that). The Washington Post noted that while Pope John Paul II, the target of a KGB assassination attempt, was “extremely public in his fight against communism,” Francis seemed dedicated to being known as a “master builder of bridges” between the communist and free worlds.

Now Leo is doing the same thing on a global basis with Islam. It has been confirmed that the Vatican has even set up a dedicated Muslim prayer room at the pope’s 5th-century library.

Francis also promoted the notion that the world must come together because of “climate change” and that Catholics who believe in the right to life and other traditional teachings must be given the boot. He sacked Texas Bishop Joseph E. Strickland, an advocate of traditional Catholic teachings.

Francis issued Laudate Deum, described by his supporters as “a powerful exhortation to all people to address the climate crisis with faith and courage.” It was a follow-up to his environmental encyclical, Laudato si!, citing the mystical work of Teilhard De Chardin, a 20th century Jesuit theologian whom New Age leaders have claimed as one of their own.

The reverence for the “Spirit of Gaia” or “Mother Earth” in the name of environmentalism assumed prominence under Francis, the first Jesuit pope. But this new pontiff, Leo XIV, believes in the green new scam as well and blessed a massive chunk of ice from a Greenland glacier as a symbolic act against “climate change” in October 2025.

By contrast, the Trump Administration is working to revive “the West’s age of dominance” led by the Christian West, as outlined by Secretary of State Marco Rubio at the Munich Security Conference. That includes dismantling Obama-Biden’s Green New Scam and achieving energy dominance in the world.

“We are part of one civilization — Western civilization,” Rubio said. "We are bound to one another by the deepest bonds that nations could share, forged by centuries of shared history, Christian faith, culture, heritage, language, ancestry, and the sacrifices our forefathers made together for the common civilization to which we have fallen heir.”

Rather than join this modern-day crusade, Pope Leo negotiates for membership in the enemy camp. Catholics should demand his replacement before he does more damage.
