Another unspeakable tragedy in Minnesota

In an entirely too-often gruesome scene, another insane gunman massacred children at Mass in a Catholic school. From Sandy Hook to Uvalde to Nashville and now Minneapolis, slaughtering children in schools is heart-wrenching, unnerving, and very angering. Sadly, and typically, details and truth about this despicable tragedy are sparse, but propaganda and hyperbole are plentiful.

Leftist press and politicians predictably and quickly politicized this abominable catastrophe, demanding gun control. They screamed that we must ban assault weapons—never mind an assault weapon was not used. The shooter is never culpable, nor are the people who enabled and even catered to this lost soul’s mental illness. It is always the gun's fault. Democrats never address the fact that blue cities with the most stringent gun laws are the most dangerous, while western and southern states where folks are generally armed are much safer. It’s not the guns or availability of guns, but the lack of decency and morality of the respective citizens.

The Democrat Media Complex desperately wants Americans to believe all violence comes from the political right. Rosie O’Donnell immediately jumped to the conclusion the shooter was a “MAGA Republican,” but to her credit she retracted that claim as soon as details were begrudgingly revealed that the shooter was a “Trump hating” disturbed young man suffering from acute gender dysphoria. That’s right he was mentally ill, not just some disgruntled, persecuted "transgender woman" as the media wants you to believe.

The Democrat Media Complex took great pains to respect the transgender status of the shooter. After Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar referred to the shooter as “he,” NPR quickly cut away to clarify that Klobuchar may have misgendered the murderer, and NPR believed the shooter may have been a “her.” What abject absurdity! This crazy man gunned down children in cold blood and the media is still more concerned about transgender sensibilities than the senseless loss of innocent young lives.

Memes on social media claimed that nine recent mass shootings were by transgender-disturbed individuals, so the Democrat Media Complex leapt into action to squash that notion. As expected, they insisted most mass shootings were mostly by white men, but fact checking is almost impossible because search engines like Google grossly manipulate data and simply suppress facts. The press claims there have been about 200 mass shooting incidents the past decade, but that includes gang related shootings. Just school shooting data is sketchy, but much less than 200. The exact numbers are not available to the public, but anything above 1% transgender shooters is disproportionate.

Regardless, the salient point is these shooters, particularly of children, are mentally disturbed. Guns are not the problem. The problem is that our mental healthcare system is absolutely broken and exacerbated by the fact they seek to affirm gender dysphoria as healthy rather than treat it as the mental illness it has always been. These lost souls are not offered treatment but rather are indulged in their deleterious delusions. Dangerous drugs, hormone therapy, and surgical mutilation produce irreversible harm, which is as callous and cruel as providing needles to drug addicts.

In his rambling manifesto, even the Minnesota shooter admitted his mother was right that trying to transition to female was a mistake, and he regretted it. We don’t know whether it was under duress or just misguided, but his mother petitioned for his name change to a female sounding name when he was 17-years-old. Apparently, he was never offered real treatment for his severe delusions, but rather was affirmed by a demented medical profession and his sickness was indulged. So he suffered, and now many innocent children suffered and even died for the politically-correct crusade of a corrupt and exploitative transgender industry. He even warned parents not to let their children transition, and in the next breath confessed his disease made him want to kill children – truly demonic.

There are no words that adequately express the anger, grief, and frustration when children are slaughtered, but it’s well past time that we take real action to protect our children. Just a couple years ago, when Minnesota had an $18 billion surplus, private schools begged for a security budget, but Governor Mike Walz denied them. Hopefully, he regrets his short-sighted decision. Every governor should heed this sad tale and ensure every school has adequate security with armed guards.

While their acts were truly evil, the Minneapolis and Nashville shooters are also tragic figures because our stupid mental healthcare system failed them miserably. They needed treatment for their serious mental illness, but instead were cynically given more rope to appease a demonic movement that is determined to normalize the abnormal. Enough. Americans must demand that transgenderism no longer be coddled, but it must be treated as a debilitating disease. The patients deserve help to overcome their mental illness, and society must be protected from the manifestations of such dangerous psychosis.

“You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires” (Ephesians 4:22).
