The poor Democrats. I can almost feel sorry for them. I said “almost.”

They thought they were so smart as they cheated their way into the White House in 2020, with their fake “insurrection” charges, that followed hard upon their myriad shenanigans to cripple Trump’s first term in the Oval Office, including the ousting of General Flynn, a couple of random “impeachments,” and the Fauch’s Covidian rules that, coincidentally, meant cancelling a few Trump rallies leading up to the election as well as trashing the Trump economic miracle. And as a follow-up act during his four-year hiatus from the presidency, they had him branded a “convicted felon” so he wouldn’t have a chance of winning in 2024, should he turn out to be foolish enough to run.

But the ever crafty Dems leave nothing to chance, so just in case Trump proved to be another “Comeback Kid,” they apparently contrived to have a sniper take a shot at him on the campaign trail. Fortunately, this plan, reminiscent of Wile E. Coyote trying to do away with Roadrunner—backfired. Bigly.

If the Dems had only left bad enough alone in the intervening years, perhaps Trump would have settled down into his glorious personal life as pater familias with his beautiful wife and family around him, playing endless rounds of golf and enjoying his extremely golden years. Perhaps.

But the Dems, through their relentless hounding of him, continuing and ramping up their persecutions, no doubt infuriated him and spurred him on to reclaim the presidency they quite literally stole from him in 2020, and to seek—not revenge—but justice. And now, to their horror, he’s in the position to do so.

Perhaps that’s why they sat on their hands during the President’s inspirational State of the Union Address, refusing to stand for defending American citizens from criminal illegal aliens, reducing fentanyl levels by 60%, getting record numbers of Americans back to work, and even for our victorious U.S. Olympic hockey team, and 100-year-old WWII military heroes.

No wonder Trump shook his head and said, “These people are crazy.” Wayne Allyn Root agrees: “That was God last night showing you their insane radical views…showing you their faces of evil…and making you clearly understand our worst enemies are within.”

MR. TRUMP GOES TO WASHINGTON: 2024 VERSION

In his first term, I sometimes had the feeling that Trump didn’t grasp the full power of the presidency. I wrote a piece I never published likening this to Dorothy’s failure to recognize the power of the ruby slippers she wore throughout her adventures in Oz. And of course the Deep Staters hemmed him in from all sides, assiduously informing him that he couldn’t do this, and couldn’t do that, while RINO advisors steered him in the wrong direction whenever possible.

Well, Trump learned his lessons! He came into office this time at 90 miles per hour, signing Executive Order after Executive Order even on his first day, mere minutes after being sworn in. The Wall St. Journal opined: “Trump Upended the Country in His First 100 Days: What’s Next?”

Here’s what turned out to be next, as you can read on the White House website: 365 WINS IN 365 DAYS: President Trump’s Return Marks New Era of Success, Prosperity

A few highlights from this list includes getting us back to just two sexes: male and female, ending mutilating “transgender” surgeries on confused minors, stopping the DEI insanity, finding and recovering billions in governmental waste through his DOGE department, and more.

But perhaps the biggest miracle is what Trump accomplished with our military, that had been hollowed out by Obama who fired the top generals, and demoralized by Biden, who recruited men who identify as women. Pundits assured us we had no real military left.

Well, no sooner had Trump returned as Commander-in-Chief, than recruitment for the army began breaking records. The President ended DEI in the military, reinstated service members discharged under Covid vaccine mandates, and injected a new spirit of America First patriotism into the nation. He even returned the Founders’ nomenclature for military leadership, from Secretary of Defense to Secretary of War.

One has only to look at our precision capture of Maduro in Venezuela, and our magnificent B-2 stealth bombers loaded with bunker-buster bombs in a successful surprise attack targeting Iran’s nuclear sites to witness our military’s breathtaking transformation.

THE ART OF THE DEAL ON STEROIDS: TRUMP’S TARIFFS

As I pointed out in a prior article, Trump resurrected tariffs in an ingenious manner not only finally to tip the global economic playing field in our direction, but as a negotiating tool to persuade other countries to agree to our terms on many other issues. As Jeff Childers puts it:

No U.S. president has ever simultaneously negotiated with the entire planet over everything — not just trade, but security guarantees, foreign aid, market access, immigration enforcement, energy deals, pharmaceutical policy, and so on— and done it openly, using tariffs as the primary pressure mechanism, rather than through military force, strings on IMF loan, CIA black ops, soft power, or covert destabilization.

ANOTHER DEMOCRAT TANTRUM: THE SHUTDOWN GAMBIT

Once again, though the Dems meant the government shutdown for evil, the Lord must have meant it for good, since, ironically, they have inadvertently handed Trump the power to permanently cut billions in funding for their favorite Leftwing projects. And President Trump is loving it! He seems to take special delight in taking the axe to one of Schumer’s pet projects, the $20 billion Gateway Project for a huge rail tunnel between New York and New Jersey. The deal is off. As Trump says: “We’re cutting a $20 billion project that Schumer fought for 15 years to get, and I’m cutting the project. The project is gonna be dead.” Gotta love it!

This is a case of unintended consequences, karma, and “watch what you wish for” combined. And just wait till we hear the Dems whining and shrieking over the way their own maliciousness is backfiring against them and blaming Trump! Delicious.

Why do I keep recalling the cartoons of Wile E. Coyote planning yet another of his never-ending attacks on the ever-elusive Road Runner?

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS

Every U.S. president since Bill Clinton only paid lip service to Congress’s Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995, calling for moving our embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem; none acted on it till Trump in his first term in 2017.

Similarly, every U.S. president and most candidates for the office since Bill Clinton declared that Iran must not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons, but it took President Trump to make good on that promise as well.

After years of presidents Clinton, Bush, Obama and O’Biden imitating Britain’s Hitler appeaser Neville Chamberlain by appeasing Iran—including Obama sending the Mullahs planeloads of cash to, um…deter them from enriching uranium and building nuclear bombs—we finally got our Churchill: President Donald Trump in his second term.

THE BOMB HEARD ‘ROUND THE WORLD

Recall that during Trump’s first term as president, as he took on North Korea’s Kim Jong Un, the Dems shrieked “He’s going to start WWIII!” And after he called the dictator “Little Rocket Man”— arguably based at least partially on Trump’s keen perception that he was a braggart unlikely to put his threats into action—the Dems went beyond mere pearl-clutching to furiously predicting a nuclear holocaust.

Didn’t happen.

And before we knew it, our President was shaking hands with his newfound friend …in North Korea! He became the only U.S. President to ever step across the border from South Korea into North Korea, welcomed by Kim Yong Un. Thus ended decades of the looming threat of nuclear warheads from that Communist country hitting our homeland.

TRUMP MOPs THE MULLAHS: JUNE 22, 2025 & FEBRUARY 28, 2026

But what President Trump accomplished by bombing Iran dwarfs his success in taming North Korea. Not only did he succeed where every other president failed for over 40 years, but he managed to Make Our Military Great Again—even after 4 years of O’Biden’s emasculating it. More than enough to make Liberal heads explode.

He changed history by removing the biggest nuclear threat in the world: that of the Mullahs of Iran who’ve sworn to destroy both the “Little Satan” and the “Great Satan”: Israel and America.

And now, in a joint operation with Israel, he’s done the unthinkable: he’s taken down the world’s Emperor Palpatine: the Ayatollah Khomeini! The Persian people who’ve been living under Khomeini’s brutal, tyrannical regime since 1979, are dancing in the streets! As Trump announced to the Iranian people: “When this is over, take over your government. It will be yours to take! This will be, probably, your only chance for generations.” Funny, that doesn’t sound to me like the “forever war” the Dems and their megaphone, the mainstream media, are screaming about.

As our President has pointed out in describing the threat of the Iranian regime and its decades-long promotion of terrorism: “They have waged war against civilization itself.”

TRUMP WAGING BOTH WAR & PEACE

Not only has Trump caused upheaval and reorganization diplomatically through tariffs and other negotiations with allies, he’s embarking on a similar shakeup militarily.

Trump’s daring capture of drug kingpin Maduro is part of his cleaning up not just crime-ridden Washington D.C., but also our southern hemisphere. Victor Davis Hanson describes it as a whole new Latin America, evolving into a “constitutional Westernized system. And the catalyst has been Donald Trump”—first by threatening the Panamanians to kick China out or the U.S. will retake the canal. Says Hanson: “The result is China and Russia are now excluded from the Western Hemisphere.”

And Trump is also pressuring the Cubans, who’ve now lost their Maduro free fuel, to give their people an economic and political liberation. Trump wants good neighbors and wants peace. But as a bold and brave Commander-in-Chief, he understands the need for strategic military action in special cases.

Hanson sums up his observations this way:

If you see a different government in Cuba, Venezuela and a tidal wave of reform in Latin America, where, at the same time, you get rid of the 47-year cancer [of Iran] in the Middle East for which American troops have been based—take away the Iranian theocracy and there’s not going to be 200 installations of Americans in Syria and Iraq. And you add what Cuba has done to us all these years—it’s been a receptacle of terrorists, hijackers, drug smugglers…. If you could solve all of those things in one year, it would be unheard of! It would make Reagan’s achievement of destroying the Soviet Union…look almost minor in comparison.

He also points out that Trump is doing this against his own political interests, as he knew attacking Iran would result in the price of gas and oil going up, which could hurt his administration in the midterms.

Instead, it seems to me the President is doing all the good he can accomplish as quickly as possible. Perhaps he’s wary of another Leftist/globalist/Dem surprise attack that could catch him off-guard as they did with a supposed dangerous pandemic in 2020, or in case of other assassination attempts from the America haters.

For us, the biggest danger may well be from Muslim terrorist sleeper cells that Biden allowed to be implanted throughout our country. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that the recent explosion and fire in a major Texas oil refinery was an act by such jihadist Muslims.

MAKING SENSE OF IT ALL

Part of Trump’s genius is seeing the big picture that so many miss. At present, though his focus is on Iran, he hasn’t lost sight of the global picture. He knows our top adversary is China, and in fighting Iran he’s not only making the world safer for everyone by eliminating the major source of terrorism and preventing the Mullahs from building nuclear bombs, he’s also trumping China (savor the pun) including Xi’s Belt and Road Initiative and reliance on Iran for a steady supply of oil. His chess moves in Latin America also work as tactics to assert American supremacy in our hemisphere, thereby checkmating China’s incursions in our neighborhood.

While Obama and O’Biden were on the same Leftist/Marxist/Radical Dem crusade to destroy America for their globalist paymasters, Trump is running a course correction. His mission is to solve global issues that have been festering for decades, like Iran’s proxy terrorism, and the sleazy drug cartels and human trafficking operations rife in our neighboring countries to the south.

It appears he wants to do all he can to leave not only America, but the world, in the best possible shape before he leaves office. This is his last opportunity to retool longstanding conflicts into peaceful coexistence and to leave a brighter, more peaceful world for posterity.

In order to bring this about, he has to move quickly and he has to take risks, many of which have already paid off. It’s too soon to tell if his gamble regarding Iran will turn out well for America, Israel, the Middle East, for the Iranian people and for the world at large—but that’s the hope. And may it prosper!
