Taking America back - - Have we finally reached the tipping point?

Recently, Americans across this nation finally stood in defiance against radical leftists and homosexual baiters to support Chick-Fil-A CEO Dan Cathy, traditional marriage, and free speech. Was this an isolated event, or an indication that Americans have finally reached the tipping point where they will actively begin to take America back?
For decades, Americans have been brainwashed and browbeaten by radical left/progressive/liberal/socialist/elitists, with the end goal of making us behave according to their rules. Children have been taught politically-correct conduct and speech in the indoctrination centers called public schools. Words have been twisted to have different meanings. People of all ages have been shamed into behavior and speech deemed acceptable to radical leftists. Rules for common courtesy and respect for one another's beliefs have been changed, while laws have been written making it a crime to have some personal beliefs and to speak-out about them. Yes, freedom of speech has been attacked in a major way — but perhaps Americans are finally fed-up with all the gobble-de-goop leftists have been dishing-out.
Multitudes of Americans have been perplexed about the societal changes that have happened since the 1950's. A majority of us have believed that someone, somehow, and some way would stop the dangerous course our nation seems to be taking. Unfortunately, we entrusted the responsibility of protecting our rights and freedoms to elected officials. And actually, this is the job these folks are supposed to do, at least at the national level — protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. But as we know all too well, we didn't do enough vetting of candidates for these elected offices. Sadly, we began to think that promises meant more than a person's character or ideology.
Furthermore, much of the breakdown in our society coincided with communist infiltration into government around mid-20th century. While communist/socialists had been lurking behind the scenes for decades, they finally got a foothold. Socialist radical Saul Alinsky played a major role in the undermining of our republic. Considered to be the father of community organizing, he wrote the book, Rules for Radicals (originally named Rules for Revolution), that is still used today as the handbook of protest tactics and promoting the socialist agenda. Before becoming president, Obama practiced Alinsky tactics in Chicago. Later, he taught these same tactics and principles to college students. Hillary (Rodham) Clinton also practices Alinsky tactics. She has been an Alinsky disciple since writing her senior thesis on him at Wellesley.
Americans tend to be trusting people. Most of us want to see the good in people, and we are usually slow to point-out the bad. This is admirable, if there is no evil in the world. But communists planned on infiltrating all areas of American society. Alinsky called it "boring from within." Because we were not vigilant in protecting our rights and freedoms, the enemy indeed infiltrated our government at all levels, and all branches. At the same time they infiltrated all areas of society including public schools, colleges, business, churches, and unions.
The undermining of traditional values and mores, and infiltration of government was carefully orchestrated. A former member of the FBI, Cleon Skousen, wrote a book, "The Naked Communist," in which he detailed a list of 45 communist goals for America. In 1963, these goals were presented to the U.S. Congress, and read into the Congressional Record. [Communist Goals (1963) Congressional Record — Appendix, pp. A34-A35 January 10, 1963] The following are some of those goals that apply to this discussion:
Leftist theory also infiltrated the Church when a social gospel began being preached more than the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Too often it has become more important to feel good about ourselves than to follow the words of the Savior, living holy lives devoted unto Him. Furthermore, some so-called churches now preach there are many ways to God. The Church has been weakened to the point that many "Christians" are merely CINO Christians (Christian in name only). If the approximate 80 percent of Americans saying they are Christians truly believe in Jesus, follow Him, and obey the Bible, why are traditional values being undermined? Communist goal #27 seems to be working.
It can't be denied that something is truly wrong in our government school system. It seems goals #17 and 36 also work for leftists. The U.S. Department of Education says that the number of functionally illiterate 17-year-olds in the United States is about 13 percent. Among minority youth, 44 percent of 17-year-olds are functionally illiterate. Talk about the dumbing-down of America. According to Educationworld.com, the average achievement of high school students on most standardized tests is now lower than 26 years ago when Sputnik was launched.
The Bible says, "Teach your children to choose the right path, and when they are older, they will remain upon it." (Prov. 22:6 NLT) Parents who don't follow this admonition risk their children being indoctrinated or brainwashed into believing whatever poison, garbage, or misinformation the government is promoting this week. Intentionally or unintentionally, many of the government bureaucrats have been following communist playbooks for decades, to the detriment of our nation's security and survival.
Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day, and this discussion, started when one Christian man stated his personal belief in traditional marriage. Homosexual activists, who are hell-bent on forcing all Americans to validate their immoral lifestyle, condemned this man and his business. Hooray for everyone who stood with Dan Cathy — but more importantly, hooray for standing with God.
It is important we stand for traditional values, like the traditional family as it was ordained by God. The family structure is one of the main foundational pillars on which a society is built. Of course, our society will only stand if it has a strong foundation. But again, there are stealthy forces at work behind the scenes undermining the family structure. Communist goals #26 and 40 have been effective in battering our family and culture. The people swinging the proverbial battering ram at the traditional family also tell us to reject the Bible (#27). Faith in God is another vital foundational pillar. If family and faith are destroyed, America will not be able to stand.
Students of the Bible know that while we talk about political ideology, communist threats, and even radical/leftist agendas, our real enemy is Satan. He is God's enemy, and he is a liar. Actually, Scripture calls him "the father of lies." (John 8:44) Many people in government are being used as pawns by this enemy in both the real and spiritual worlds. Further, many ideologies are fueled by this same enemy. For instance, Saul Alinsky dedicated his above-mentioned book to Lucifer (Satan). Following Obama, Hillary, Alinsky, and all lie-spewing leftists is our right, but doing so will lead us to our own destruction.
Knowing the truth should cause us to pray. Although I personally know how hard this is to do, God nonetheless says that we are to pray for our leaders, plead mercy upon them, and to give thanks. (1 Tim. 2:1-2 NLT) We should also repent of our own sins and ask forgiveness. Hopefully, the attack on Dan Cathy is indeed a tipping point that will cause us to stand for our beliefs, no matter what, and begin to take America back. If we don't exercise our freedom of speech and religion, we may just lose them. To anyone willing to hear....
