The world paused for a moment when the last living Israeli hostages were finally released by their Hamas captors in Gaza. Most of the world was overjoyed and relieved, many in disbelief it would ever happen, and a bitter few resentful of any good news credited to President Trump. Most of the planet celebrated Trump’s Middle East Peace Deal. The euphoria was palpable everywhere, so the Trump haters found themselves isolated but undeterred – they still hate Trump no matter what he does.
Watching the hostages reunited with their families was powerfully moving. The joy and overwhelming relief of great anxiety and pain that their loved ones had been freed from torture and almost certain death was high drama. Crying, hugging, and singing, these reunited Israeli families captured our hearts and imaginations. Israelis were not confused; in the streets they chanted, “Thank you, President Trump!” Yet, deranged and irrational Trump haters still cannot admit Trump’s success. He could cure cancer, and they would demonstrate in support of cancer.
Against all odds and contrary to the prognosticators, President Trump achieved the impossible. By aggressive and proactive foreign policy, Trump got Hamas to agree to release the hostages and then disarm. The hostages have been released and hopefully Hamas will follow through with disarming, but for this moment Trump has made by far the most progress towards Middle East peace than any other political leader in history.
Even the most ardent Trump haters cannot deny Trump’s historic success. Trump has brought the Arab and Muslim world together in agreement with Israel for a Palestinian peace plan. Trump was warmly received and cheered in the Israeli Knesset and then flew to Egypt to receive the same warm and appreciative reception from Arab and Muslim leaders. Above all, Trump is respected and even revered by all in the Middle East. That reality leaves leftists sputtering.
The extreme left remains cynical and skeptical, but a few Democrats have had the decency to congratulate President Trump. Thanks to Hillary Clinton, Senators Chuck Schumer, and John Fetterman for a moment of magnanimity. Even comedians Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel gave Trump a positive shout out. They don’t suddenly agree with Trump or even like him, but giving credit where credit is due is what preserves civil discourse in our otherwise turbulent politics.
The Gaza Peace Deal is nothing short of miraculous, but it’s also genius in that it deprives rabid leftists of one of their core issues. For years, the college campuses have been plagued by unruly violent protests to free Palestine and stop the genocide. Well, Trump just liberated Gaza from tyranny and stopped the bloodshed, so what will these malcontent students protest now? And why are they not also in the streets cheering for the end of the war?
The short answer is they were never protesting for Palestinians, but rather only against Trump. Any interviews of these college protesters clearly showed they had no grasp or understanding of the situation in Gaza. They were simply manipulated to cause dissension and make Trump look bad, but they failed miserably because they only looked crazy and unhinged. What will they protest now? Odds are they will find another absurd cause to foment chaos.
In his first short nine months, Trump has accomplished more at breakneck speed than any other president in an entire term. He secured the border, stopped illegal immigration, cooled inflation, fostered robust economic growth, revived American manufacturing jobs, boosted real wages, restored law and order in Washington, and still found time to end eight global conflicts. Trump’s incredible success is undeniable, so those that persist in maligning his every move are increasingly isolated because Americans see they are denying real progress.
Don’t expect militant leftists to change their tune. They won’t and can’t because their identity is rooted in Trump Derangement Syndrome; that is their only platform – they have no other ideas or policy proposals. If they admit Trump is right about anything, they will have to consider they are also wrong about other Trump policies. Again, his wildly successful administration undermines their reason for existence.
Trump is indeed an existential threat to socialist democrats, so they cannot concede. However, their absurdity and failed records combined with the proof in Trump’s successes gives average Americans a clear contrast. For those that still doubt Trump or don’t agree with all his policies, they can see that Trump will take action and reach across any aisle, so they are seeing someone they can work with. That’s why Trump’s approval rating remains higher than Obama or Bush at the same point in their second terms.
Despite all the gnashing of teeth and wailing in the Democrat Media Complex, Trump is uniting America. Americans are coming together for a better and stronger America. Contrary to ridiculous predictions, Trump would lead us into war and besmirch our global reputation, Americans see Trump resolutely leading the world, making peace, and clearly restoring international respect to the United States. America is back and patriotic Americans are again proud of their country.
The radical left is losing, and the media is fading, so America is again thriving. Americans appreciate the hard work and results. In Israel, Trump declared a new era of faith, he is indeed leading America into a new golden age as one nation under God.
“With upright heart he shepherded them and guided them with his skillful hand” (Psalm 78:72).
