In years past when decency and decorum were more prevalent in America, the Grammy Awards showcased the glitz and glamour of Hollywood and the music industry. Americans love celebrities and back then, celebrities loved America, but now most of our celebrities loathe America and our traditional values. At the recent Grammy Awards, almost everyone who got near a microphone maligned law enforcement with ample expletives and repeated ignorant heinous lies about deportations and supposedly peaceful paid protesters rioting around the country.

Beyond the silly vapid rants, the Grammys were a pathetic parade of filth and narcissism. We can appreciate artists pushing the envelope of creativity and some are surely talented, but when they are not performing, they are plain dumb and nasty. It seems they are only competing to be more outrageous, provocative, and just plain weird to shock people, but their shenanigans have become banal and tiresome. The Grammys were simply sleazy and unwatchable; that’s why the ratings decline every year. No one wants political lectures from the uninformed.

Beyond cursing ICE, the Grammy attendees could not explain why we should not enforce immigration laws or not remove criminal illegal aliens from our communities. They could only sputter “ICE out,” or repeat nonsensical fabrications that American citizens are being “disappeared” or murdered. It’s somewhat disgusting that celebrities were so proud of themselves to wear their little “ICE Out” pins or laud the rogue rioters assaulting federal law enforcement, but none of them wore pins for or lamented the thousands of victims of illegal alien criminals.

While the ridiculous pontificating proceeded unabated all night to open our borders, let everyone in the country without any vetting, and keep the illegal alien criminals here, only the rich elite could get into the Grammys. There were barricades and stiff security and without a specific invitation, the masses were not allowed anywhere near the rich and self-important. That rich irony was apparently lost the celebrity geniuses.

Perhaps one of the most absurd and comical statements was by singer Billie Eilish who stated, “No one is illegal on stolen land,” and then promptly cursed law enforcement. It just so happens that Eilish’s multi-million-dollar mansion is on the ancestral lands of the Tongva Tribe. The Tongva Tribe graciously thanked her for acknowledging their stolen land, but asked they at least be given mention next time she virtue signals her ostensible concern.

However, Eilish’s hollow declaration begs some questions. If she truly believes our land and specifically hers was stolen, is she going to give it back? Or at least share it? If she insists illegal migrants should be allowed to stay, will she at least open her home to the Tongva Tribe? It’s breathtaking how obtuse celebrities are to their glaring hypocrisy.

The Grammy attendees had ample vitriol for ICE and of course the orange menace, President Trump, but really, they could not contain their contempt for God. Their prurient antics are nothing more than rebellion against God; they believe they know better than God and whatever makes them feel good is right in their eyes. The rare remarkable exception that night was singer Jelly Roll praising his Savior, Jesus Christ; the Grammy groupies didn’t know how to react.

Other than the predictable targets, ICE and Trump, rapper Nicki Manaj was singled out and mocked by the mediocre host, Trevor Noah, simply because she supports Trump. Manaj was not there, but Noah joked she was still with Trump at the White House and insinuated she was not missed. Since 2011, Manaj has received 12 Grammy nominations but has not won a Grammy and now probably never will.

Her transgression? She loves America, supports Trump, and she is a Christian. Her persecution by Hollywood shows their dogmatic disdain for Trump, traditional American values, and Christianity. Deviate from Hollywood’s leftist pablum and you will be punished.

Truly courageous, Manaj has publicly supported Trump and expressed her appreciation for his efforts to stop the slaughter of Christians in Nigeria. No Grammy buttons for Nigerian Christians either. She summed up her views and the national situation when she posted on social media that “Any Christians that votes Democrat is a fool.” For the Hollywood left, that is an unforgivable sin.

Hollywood has certainly become shameful, but their real shame is that they don’t really care about the plight of illegal migrants or the carnage caused by illegal alien criminals; or they would be better informed and actually do something constructive beyond wearing silly pins and ranting maniacally. Their only purpose is to stifle morality, so they can continue to pursue their hedonistic indulgences without criticism and judgement.

Shameless, Hollywood hates America and resents God. Pray for them.
