President Trump has infuriated Democrats and leftists across the country. He again has earned the unbridled wrath of the Democrat Media Complex; he has riled them to uncontainable frothy fury. Democrats are insisting Trump cease and desist his bold program; some like “The View” host, Whoopi Goldberg, demand the administration be sued to stop his diabolic plan. What is this egregious harm Trump is foisting on America? He is brazenly cleaning up Washington, DC, more specifically, he is repairing and renovating the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.

The Reflecting Pool over the years had become an ugly sludgy swamp; and Washington had also become dirty, tired, and dangerous. Using the National Guard and aggressive federal prosecutions, Trump has substantially reduced crime in Washington and made the Capitol a relatively safe city where families have returned to enjoy the splendor of our Capitol’s public spaces. Preparing for our nation’s 250th birthday, he has refurbished and repaired dozens of fountains and monuments; he has made Washington beautiful again.

Sounds like a noble cause for America and wonderful for celebrating our birthday, so who would contest that and why? Oddly, the Reflecting Pool has become ground zero for leftist resistance and even rebellion to cleaning up Washington. Trump directed a renovation that made the pool clean and reflect the gorgeous deep blue of our flag, but that was just too much for radical Democrat Socialists. Militant leftists attacked the pool and vandalized the repairs by cutting the new bottom and sabotaged the water with chemicals and perhaps aggressive algae. They turned the patriotic blue to unseemly green and cheered their damage and pollution.

The Democrat Media Complex has descended on the Reflecting Pool like it’s a war zone; reporters are climbing over one another to take water samples and pictures of the vandalism. They don’t care about the defacement but are giddy to blame Trump and proclaim he failed. However, these same intrepid journalists could not find their way to our open borders as millions of illegal immigrants invaded our homeland.

Leftist talking heads are obsessed with emphasizing Trump’s supposed failure but have little interest in covering Tulsi Gabbard’s bombshell document release showing Dr Tony Fauci funded dangerous “gain of function” virus research at places like the Chinese Wuhan lab, knew all along that COVID was from a lab, and LIED to Congress under oath! And never mind, his nefarious plans killed millions on the planet and was an outright attack on our Constitutional Republic!

With so many serious challenges on the world stage, why is the Reflecting Pool a flash point? Why are rabid leftists apoplectic about Trump cleaning up the Reflecting Pool? It’s a magnificent complement to the Lincoln Memorial, so it seems silly to be incensed about cleaning it up. The short answer is that it’s because unstable leftists just can’t stand anything Trump does no matter how good. Obama spent almost three times as much repairing the Reflecting Pool and no one noticed much less protested.

The leftist fixation with and ire for a beautiful clean patriotic Reflecting Pool are much deeper and telling than just Trump Derangement Syndrome. American leftists and the emerging Democrat Socialists absolutely hate America! They don’t think America deserves any celebration.

Hatred for our country may seem harsh, but this new strain of Democrat Socialists are totally anti-capitalism because it allows common people to fend for themselves. They are anti-borders because they want a third world invasion of illegal immigrants to dilute our culture. They are anti-traditional values because moral people will not abide a morally bankrupt government wielding oppressive power. They are anti-police because anarchy and chaos are just another way to attain tyranny.

Tyranny is absolute power and that’s exactly what Democrat Socialists crave. A beautiful safe prospering Washington is emblematic of a powerful nation of the people, by the people, for the people, so the algae green Reflecting Pool simply mirrors their abject envy for the power they do not have. They attack, burn, deface, and vandalize anything that represents the goodness of America.

Democrat Socialists covet big government power and therefore promise to provide every need from childcare to food to housing to healthcare to average Americans even though their only plan to pay for it is to tax every last dollar of American wealth. As British Prime Minister Maragret Thatcher quipped: “Socialism is fine until you run out of other people’s money.” Nevertheless, they know if people believe they can get free stuff, then Democrat Socialists can attain absolute power.

The Democrat Socialists are gaining some favor with the poor who are still struggling from detrimental progressive policies that caused the lingering affordability problem. Trump has substantially reduced Biden’s hyper-inflation, but it’s still too high and is still a weight on working folks. Moreover, our failed public education system has indoctrinated our youth to believe America is hopelessly flawed and they never learned the horrific death and suffering of every failed socialist experiment in history. So, some are sadly willing to take a chance on socialism.

The conundrum for Democrat Socialists is they can only win elections if they convince a majority of Americans to also hate America or cheat. They will likely cheat, but they must also tear down everything good about America that is testament to the greatness of the only truly free nation on the planet. That’s why they can’t abide a beautiful clean Refecting Pool. It reminds us America is great and our best hope to continue enjoying freedom.

The message of socialism is seductive, and too many are vulnerable to its lies, so pray that as we celebrate our 250th birthday, average Americans will remember or relearn that America is good because it enshrines the God given rights of the individual. The socialist threat is real, so if you cherish freedom, pray and vote!
