Gay pride: Still a blasphemous act of foolishness -- not something you want to feature in a parade

There will not be a day from now to the end of time when Bible believing people will not stand with God's assessment of the deep sin of sodomy. It is a depraved act of perversion that ranks close to the unforgivable act of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. It is one of only a few sins the bible describes as an abomination.

So, what is there to be proud of?

Being prideful of behaviors that God condemns is defiance, rebellion and reprobation all rolled into one.

That kind of rebellion is showing up in pride parades, LGBT agenda and of late even in some of our embassies which have decided to disregard the direct orders of the State Department not to fly the LGBT flag at their respective offices.

According to explainlife.com, the refusal to comply with State Department directives is popping up all around the world.

Embassies defying directives include, Seoul, South Korea, Chennai, India, and the embassy of New Delhi decorated their building with the rainbow colors for the month of June, which is the so called "Pride Month."

Explain Life, quoting the Daily Caller also said, "The United States' Embassy in Santiago, Chile, flew the LGBTQ rainbow flag in order to "celebrate the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia on May 17, seen in a video posted on the embassy's website," according to the Daily Caller.

"Numerous U.S. diplomats tweeted photos from Jerusalem showing themselves visiting local pride events. Among these events were a March for Pride and Tolerance, as reported by the Washington Post. The U.S. ambassador to Nepal, Randy Berry, sent out a tweet containing a photo of himself standing with embassy employees. They were proudly displaying rainbow letters which read "PRIDE."

Pride can be a simple assertion of our willingness to accept what is marginalized in the minds of others, but more often than not, it is an act of defiance vaunted above all acceptable behaviors, traditions, mores and moral codes. Pride says to God and man – look at me ignoring you.

In this age of perversion it seems that people are offended because you are offended with their new social agendas even if they clearly are in themselves intrinsically offensive to God, nature or tradition.

Newsweek recently said, "The son of late U.S. evangelist Billy Graham and current president of the Samaritan's Purse took to Facebook Saturday to applaud Trump and U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for "making the decision not to fly the gay flag over our embassies" in June. Thousands of his more than 7 million social media followers appeared to support Graham's claim that rainbow-adorned gay pride flags are "offensive" to Christians and much of the country."

A quick reality check means that if seven million of Graham's followers are offended with gay flag et al, then in a broader cross section of society many more millions also are continually offended if not outright disgusted with the gay agenda.

It would be easy just to tell the homosexuals to just get over it, but they are not satisfied with that. They want to label people as haters, homophobes and if possible find some way to punish them.

While the secularists continue to search for the "gay gene" and the pop philosophers and debaters use every twisted argument they can conjure to justify the homosexual lifestyle, the bible is not so uncertain.

The scriptures warn against sodomy and declare that it is the pathway to separation from God. But it also proclaims that the source of homosexuality is clearly demonic.

In fact, the bible says Satan (the ruler of this world) is the father of the "children of pride" (Job 41:34)

The bible also says that "pride" (Mk 7:22) is a concoction of the human heart that is also inspired by the evil one.

Is there anyone on earth who has not heard or read this familiar verse?

"Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall." (Proverbs 16: 18)

Gay pride?

We don't think so!

Jesus Christ labeled his own generation as perverse, (Mt 17:17) we can only wonder what he would say of our generation, but the word reprobate stands out as the most likely word for describing the deep perversions of our time. In fact, contrary to the popular belief that the bible is a crusted ancient book with no connection to today is refuted, when we take into account the prophetic nature of the book.

It is the bible that clearly predicts that in the last years of time as we know it, men will become more perverted than at any other time in history, and that plunge, is what brings them to a state of total reprobation.

Must we add that the only thing that can follow reprobation is judgment?

We may believe that we need to reject Christ and the bible while accepting all that is nascent and perverted but it is a lot like trying to take a long road trip in reverse. It may seem like a fun idea, but it is not likely that you will arrive alive.

See it for yourself.
