In the psychology of a rumor, there is something referred to as the "illusory truth effect" – yeah, it is believing a lie, because you would be trying to swim upriver if you did not. It is an illusion, adapted to our thinking by cognitive bias.
Is the Epstein client list an illusory effect?
Make a careful note of one fact that this writer doesn’t care one way or the other. But I am inclined to believe there never was a client list. Yet, I also believe that with some good old-fashioned gumshoe work, combing through travel records and credit card receipts the facts could be made known.
I don’t believe that Epstein kept an open list for prying eyes. He had far more to lose than to gain.
Not certain about the list, but certain that Americans are all too hung up on it. It feeds the far right with dreams and horrors, and we can only wonder if they can get to sleep at night.
Some people think the subject of prophecy and the future is all too deep into the realm of the unknown.
The far right spend most of their time in the unknown. The difference is that God certifies the future and provides general signs to accompany it, but conspiracy theorists have no time limits on their subject matter. They will be talking about it literally forever.
This is exactly why political illusions remain unsolved, until they are transformed into deep and permanent delusions.
Only something the scriptures calls the “love of the truth” can head off the permanence of endless conjecture in unprovable theories.
“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie” (2 Thes 2:10-11).
Biblical Prophecy is Far More than Just Predicting Events
The Bible is used to uncover the when, where, and how of the great events of history that are to finally converge into cataclysmic conclusions. But a great deal of prophecy is a revelation of how the attitudes, and the moral decline will sweep across the entire globe.
As an example, this list describes the changes that will prevail around the world in the last days. People will be falling into every pitfall imaginable – it is the death of normal – it is a sign of the times.
The list is derived from 2 Timothy 3:1-7, and is ascribed only to those who live in the last days.
Narcissistic, they love only themselves
Hungry for materialism
Proud and boastful
No respect for parents
Unthankful
Unholy
Affections no longer natural
Deal breakers and trucebreakers
False accusers of other people
Without self-control
Hate people who want to do what is good
Traitors and betrayers of people and causes
Heads in the clouds
Love pleasures above all else
Always learning something new but unable to discern timeless truths
Hello 2025 – what is in store for the future?
The Loveless Era underway in 2025 – beware tomorrow
When Jesus spoke to his disciples of the signs of his Second Coming, he specifically warned that while changes in nature and wars would be incessantly erupting, there would be an overriding atmosphere of lovelessness among all mankind. Those traits and tendencies are mentioned above, and Jesus said that would be the cause of the loveless generation.
“Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” (Matt 24:9-12”
Who could deny that these prophecies are already flooding our world?
Antisemitism is creeping across the globe. Persecution of Christians is on the rise in almost all Muslim countries. Churches are burned in ancient Egypt, sometimes with the believers still inside and worshipping. In Nigeria Christians are hunted down like wild animals with almost total impunity.
Christ also warned that at the height of the loveless era, parents and children would begin delivering each other up for imprisonment and death as it was once seen in Nazi Germany.
The Trump hatred in America is now seeing new extremes. It is something we should all be ashamed of, but rather politicians and those holding high offices are promoting the Trump hate almost on a daily basis. They are agitating our young, immigrants, and the very unstable among us to protest, riot, and even kill if it seems expedient to further their discontent.
While Trump is calling for unity and reminding us that we are one nation and we are strongest when we stand together, the call to hatred is being fulfilled as Christ well warned.
“And a man's foes shall be they of his own household” (Matt 10:36).
We are one household America – come out of the dark.
Recently, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Louisiana’s law that required the Ten Commandments to be hung in every school in that state, should be struck down as unconstitutional.
And yet, it is the first two commandments that can never be removed or conversely assigned to any constitution of any nation on earth.
These two commands are the incontrovertible laws of the eternal and Living God – cancel, ignore, or diminish these laws and hatred is always bound to follow with all its dire and deadly consequences.
They are not political, sociological, ideological, convenient or inconvenient – they are prophecy, and they are the laws of life.
“...Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets” (Matt 22: 37-40).
