Ah, the glorious wonder of a cozy, fun-loving July 4th in our own city, wherever we live, on this much-to-be-celebrated Independence Day....
And that makes it the perfect time for a little storytelling, harkening back to the founding of this amazing United States of America and its established roots—a Nation that truly is the greatest land ever to exist, all due to its powerful foundation of Almighty God and His Biblical Principles...all due to His Gracious and Guiding Hand.
Now, the Global Deep State/Elite Machine that has run America and the World for decades—and who are now, thanks to President Trump and our Mighty Military, circling the drain—has tried their hardest, via media and academic manipulation, to convince the populace that America is too big for its britches...that it needs to be taken down a peg or two....
But of course that’s their assessment, as they answer to Satan in this current worldwide war of Good vs. Evil, God vs. Satan. And America is God’s successful "experiment," so they cannot rule the world with America in their way. They even tried to push the lie that most of our Founding Fathers didn’t even subscribe to Christianity.
Yet we Believers in Jesus Christ—Believers that Jesus is the Son of God who died for our sins and rose again—know the real, unadulterated truth behind this wicked web of deceit. We know that ninety-three percent of the Founding Fathers who signed the Declaration of Independence were Christians!
And we also are well aware that although Deep State followers, such as Progressives/Wokesters, seek to replace the basic premises of the Declaration of Independence by stating that our rights and our dignities come not from God but from government, we shake our heads in disgust and ready for the battle.
We instead remember that even Thomas Jefferson—whom Deep Staters conveniently cite as a deist, "forgetting" to mention that Jefferson adhered to Jesus Christ’s principles nonetheless—once proclaimed, “Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just: that his justice cannot sleep forever.” Divine accountability was important to the Founders!
And history also shows that these Founding Fathers faced severe hardships for their treasonous defiance of the British Crown, something that they knew likely would happen if they signed the Declaration of Independence. Of the total 56 signers:
Nine died from war wounds or extreme battlefield hardships.
Five were captured and brutally tortured as traitors.
At least 12 had their homes looted and burned by British and Loyalist troops.
Two lost sons in the Continental Army.
And many also suffered severe financial ruin. For example, Carter Braxton of Virginia lost his shipping fleet, sold all his properties to pay off debts, and then died in poverty.
Why then, did these men decide to put their lives, property, fortunes, and security on the line to save this American experiment from imploding? Well, perhaps Newt Gingrich, author/historian/former Speaker of the House, offers the most plausible reason when considering human nature as relates to the deeds of these selfless/brave souls.
Gingrich recently in an interview on Fox News’ Hannity, where he emphasized that the Founding Fathers risked everything because they saw themselves as a revolutionary generation, declared that these men of valor were deeply motivated by the belief that their rights came directly from God, rather than a monarch or government.
Our former Speaker further explained that these proud Patriots pledged their lives and fortunes to fight tyranny and to ensure that governmental power derived directly from the people, relying heavily on God-given rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Gingrich then offered up the idea that it’s very probable that although these Patriots were brave beyond measure, when it came down to it, they simply could not face a future knowing that they had not tried their very best to squelch those who would take this God-given freedom from We the People. They could not continue looking into the mirror if they had not taken on the largest Military in the world, no matter the exceeding odds against them—yes, they innately sensed this!
And truly, this banner of freedom/truth is passed on to all of us...it is powerfully handed to each of us personally by the Lord Himself. Next to our salvation from sin after we repent of our sins, this is our greatest gift from Almighty God.
It is much/much more valuable than any momentary castles or comforts some may seek in this lifetime. Any castles folks build and rely upon for their value and security will only burn one day, as we see in Holy Bible Prophecy’s foretelling of events to come in these latter days.
And when we repent and Jesus Christ then places His very own Holy Spirit inside of us to guide us unto all Truth and to comfort us, we start seeing Christ rebuild our insides into something more Holy, more like Him. Over time, our insides then no longer value castles/comforts at all, but instead put extreme emphasis upon following, obeying, and trusting in Jesus Christ. We hold ever-so-lightly to this world, with our gaze steadfastly upon Heaven to come.
And in applying that mindset to our Country, we realize that the American flag is unlike any other in the world. Yes, Britain and France and Germany—numerous Countries worldwide—have their own flag, and no doubt dutifully salute in its presence...but the American flag represents so much more than these flags do. Indeed, Old Glory represents Almighty God’s principles being used as a rock-solid foundation for any culture to be able to enter into the U. S. A. and assimilate...our flag represents a true melting pot that stands for justice and freedom for all.
No matter how well the Deep State has brainwashed some into thinking that this Country of ours was/is/ever-shall-be bad, we Believers in Christ know that, although every country has some flaws, we Americans accept our failings and repent...and ultimately try feverishly to follow God’s mandates that allow for honest, hardworking, caring, Biblically-based lives....
We also know, according to Scripture, that being spiritually free on the inside—and experiencing the one and only true peace/tranquility available to mankind—involves staying "this-close" to our Lord and Savior...and includes letting Jesus shine His Holy Spirit through us, thus completing His purpose/mission for each of our individual lives.
And yes, we are free to sin, but Scripture wisely warns us that sinning only leads to death and destruction, whereas following Almighty God leads to a calm serenity: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).
Moreover, we Believers in Christ, as we see these latter days that were foretold in our Holy Bible fast approaching, are told to warn and encourage others. We are told to talk about "Jesus and the Cross," about His message of Eternal salvation that’s available to everyone who would repent of their sins and invite Jesus Christ into their heart.
Friends, the Global Machine tried so very hard to shut us down...to shut Jesus Christ out of any type of discourse...to shut down America as the beacon of God’s liberty that it is...but we will continue to shine our little light and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ wherever/whenever we can.
No matter how many times Satan and his minions try to black out anything associated with Jesus Christ, we resolve to only push harder on behalf of our sweet Lord and Savior.
Yes, there is a current and strong push back from Satan in the form of Socialism, Communism-light, as the Devil tries hard to maintain relevancy. And yes, there also is a virulent wave of anti-Antisemitism—also foretold in Bible prophecy for these latter days—but this only challenges us on to higher heights, to solid perseverance in Christ.
Paul’s testimony speaks to this Satanic force that he, too, many times was presented with, in this case the threat of death: “But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God” (Acts 20:24).
And so, fellow Warriors in Christ, as the hot dogs and burgers sizzle on the grill and ease our fleshly appetites, and we eagerly seek out the biggest/best fireworks display that we can find...deep down in our insides, we feel this call to fight for our bravely-won freedom. It is a palpable and raw gut feeling, and it won’t go away.
Thus, we join hands and fight this fight from wherever we are, in whatever small way we can. It’s now "Almighty God’s Prescient Power versus Satan’s feeble/fake force." And as we take up our fierce and unrelenting battle cry against these spiritual forces of darkness, we suddenly grasp onto the oh-so-appropriate lyrics of Billy Falcon’s faith-based song “Never Surrender” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANaRobKfptI:
-
“Alive and well, I’m wide awake
Won’t take your brand, I’m not your slave
You serve your God, Lord of the Flies
I pity you when you meet mine
Lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes
Your bloody mouth, unsatisfied
God sees the trap you set for me
He’ll not be mocked, I will be free
“We will not bend, we will not break
How dare you touch what God gave?
We'll never give in, never give up, never back down
Never surrender, never surrender!
“Your fear will not make me behave
I won’t march in your masked parade
Your hollow threats won’t shut me up
I won’t bow down, enough’s enough
You say you’ll give us what we need
As if you own the air we breathe
Stand up, one hundred million strong
Thought we'd lie down, well, you thought wrong
“We will not bend, we will not break
How dare you touch what God gave?
We’ll never give in, never give up, never back down
Never surrender, never surrender
“Oh, I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
Just keep going, keep on going
Jesus with me every step
Just keep going, keep on going
Walk through the valley of the shadow of death
Just keep going, keep on going
Jesus, closer than my breath
Just keep going, keep on going
“We will not bend, we will not break
How dare you touch what God gave?
We’ll never give in, never give up, never back down
We’ll never give in, never give up, never back down
We’ll never give in, never give up, never back down
Never surrender, never surrender
“Oh, I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
Just keep going, keep on going
Jesus with me every step
Just keep going, keep on going
Walk through the valley of the shadow of death
Just keep going, keep on going
Jesus, closer than my breath
Just keep going, keep on going....”
