You do not have to be a Catholic to recognize that the Roman Catholic Church traces its roots to the time of Christ and St. Peter and has a special place in the history of Christianity. What is more, Christians of various persuasions understand that there is a spiritual conflict between Christ and Satan for control of the world that is under the careful watch of God Himself. What roles do President Trump and the nations of America and Russia, now at war in Europe, play in this unfolding scenario?
Many Americans believe America has a divine mission in the world and President Trump has recognized the hand of God in saving his life from an attempted assassin. But are there nations taken over by the spirit of the anti-Christ? Some would immediately respond that Communist China is such a country. But what about Russia, a nation that many conservatives believe has shaken its communist past?
In my recent Rumble TV interview with Trevor Loudon, the anti-communist analyst, the case was made that Russia remains under the control of a communist regime, led by a former KGB colonel, Vladimir Putin, that is waging war with its former Soviet republics, starting with Ukraine and threatening to expand into Eastern Europe. But several key Trump advisers, such as Tucker Carlson, have supported Russia by featuring interviews with Russian president Vladimir Putin and his “brain,” the “Russian philosopher” Alexander Dugin. They blame "Nazis" in Ukraine for the war.
Russia’s recent aggressive actions, as Trump tried to negotiate a ceasefire and peace deal, have apparently caught the president by surprise. He called on Putin to “STOP” his military assaults on the people of Ukraine. Meanwhile, Alexander Dugin is defending the use of communist North Korean troops in the war on Ukraine, as well as Russia’s alliance with Communist China, as Trump’s Director of National Intelligence (DNI), Tulsi Gabbard, is telling President Trump that Russia-supported Iran is not pursuing nuclear weapons.
Gabbard has declared that “radical Islam” is a threat but seems to accept claims by the Mullahs that America can negotiate with Iran and make it friendly to the United States. Hence, Trump has pursued a “deal” with Iran, a development that threatens the survival of Israel, another country that figures in Bible prophecy. We argued that Gabbard, as we warned at the time, does not have the necessary credentials to ascertain national security threats to America. She defended former NSA/CIA analyst Edward Snowden, who defected to Russia through Chinese Hong Kong.
It appears that President Trump now understands he had a major blind spot regarding Russia, and that the “art of the deal” is not possible with Putin. In this context, the Catholic Church view on the importance of Russia in Bible prophecy deserves some interest and scrutiny from the president and his top aides.
The Catholic view is that the Virgin Mary appeared to the children at Fatima, Portugal, in 1917, the same year as the communist revolution in Russia, and requested a special religious ceremony or consecration of Russia, to prevent its “errors” from devastating the world. The warning was that “Russia will spread its errors throughout the world, raising up wars and persecutions against the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father [the Pope] will have much to suffer, and various nations will be annihilated.”
In 2018, a film called "The Vatican Deception" warned that the needed consecration had not taken place and that Armageddon was coming unless Russia was converted to Christ in a special consecration ceremony by the Roman Catholic Church. Pope Francis did in fact arrange a consecration ceremony for Russia in March 25, 2022, but that was about a month after Russia began its full-scale invasion of Ukraine under Joe Biden.
The war continues, despite President Trump’s pledge to end it on Day One of his presidency. We are now moving past Day 100 and Trump seems increasingly alienated from Putin because of Putin’s obvious desire for more war and more bloodshed, using communist North Korean troops and Chinese assistance to make this possible. Putin’s conduct should be a wake-up call to those who have believed that Ukraine (or NATO) started the war and that Russia wanted peace.
In retrospect, it is worth considering that the consecration of Russia did NOT take place as necessary. Perhaps there was something deficient in what Pope Francis did. That is the argument made by Paul Stark, director of “The Vatican Deception,” in a recent interview on my Rumble channel. He notes that Francis replaced Pope Benedict in a strange turn of events, when Benedict retired, and that the Francis papacy may not have been legitimate. As a result, that and other factors undermined the consecration of Russia that was required.
Catholics and non-Catholics alike have a religious obligation to understand these events and their impact on the world. If the Fatima revelations are true, and the Virgin Mary did in fact appear to those three children at Fatima, Portugal, in a warning for the world, it means the Catholic Church can stop what appears to be a rush toward total war involving nuclear exchanges between Russia, America, and perhaps China.
But whether the consecration of Russia occurs will depend on the next Pope and whether he follows the outline of what was presented more than 100 years ago and validated by the "Miracle of the Sun" witnessed by tens of thousands of people and which followed the appearance of – and the promise from – the Virgin Mary.
President Trump would be well-advised to consider the spiritual dimensions of this conflict. This could be the key to world peace and his own successful presidency.
During the more than 100-year period in which Russia was not consecrated, the “errors” of that nation have been displayed for all to see, as the Russian Orthodox Church emerged in a schism (under the control of the KGB) and Soviet Russia launched an international communist movement that has claimed 100 million lives.
Pagans and secular humanists scoff at reports that demons or Satan exist. But even Pope Francis, a Jesuit with a soft spot for Marxist-oriented “liberation theology,” referred to the transgender ideology as demonic. Signs of demonic possession in some individuals can be measured. They include:
- a colossal amount of strength that is not natural,
- the ability to speak in languages the possessed don’t know, sometimes in the form of ancient languages the possessed couldn’t possibly learn,
- and knowledge of unconfessed sins by the possessed person who reveals them to those participating in the exorcism.
An exorcism in Mount Rainier, Maryland, in the Washington, D.C. area, inspired the book by William Peter Blatty and the film "The Exorcist." Blatty also wrote Legion, a book about demons based on Satan’s proclamation, “My name is Legion, for we are many,” in answer to Jesus’ question, “What is your name?”
For years, the Vatican treated believers in the Fatima prophecies as heretics, a fact attributed by director Paul Stark to the communist infiltration of the Vatican. Now, with the passing of Pope Francis, the Roman Catholic Church has an opportunity to not only eradicate communism and corruption in the ranks but fulfill Bible prophecies recognized by the church itself. That means Russia – especially its regime of former KGB operatives – must be exorcized. We discussed the nature of this regime in our 2014 book, Back from the Dead: The Return of the Evil Empire.
We learned from anti-communist scholar Dr. Paul Kengor that the Soviets were certainly behind the May 13, 1981, attempted assassination of anti-communist Pope John Paul II. His book, A Pope and a President: John Paul II, Ronald Reagan, and the Extraordinary Untold Story of the 20th Century, revealed that Reagan’s CIA director Bill Casey confirmed the Soviet role, in the face of official CIA or Deep State resistance to the finding.
Like Trump, Reagan survived an assassination attempt. Reagan brought down the Soviet empire through a combination of military and monetary pressure, until Vladimir Putin assumed the Russian presidency and tried to bring it back, with his first invasion of Ukraine under President Obama and then a massive invasion under Biden. This is the world that President Trump inherits. With God’s help, he will make the right decisions. It is then up to the next Pope.
