Religious Tyranny in the Middle East is the real threat to world security – not the presence of Israel! Let me make this perfectly clear: People who give allegiance to their sacred dogma above and to the exclusion of people's inalienable rights are the culprits in this conflict.

We are Stan Zir, son of Isidore (Yehonatan), and Bernard 'Buddy' Macy, son of Morris (Mordechai Moshe). We consider ourselves to be among the most fortunate people on the face of the earth. As Americans of Jewish descent, we have inherited the best of both worlds – Jewish Law, and American Constitutional Law.
Because we care so deeply about Israel and her survival, we propose that you make the following unprecedented global address/multi-media presentation before the U.S. and international media The text we have included will speak directly to the average American viewer as to the indisputable connection that Israel has with America – from a Biblical and American Constitutional point of departure.
Prime Minister Netanyahu: The following presentation is informally divided into two parts – beginning with the case for Israel's existence and rightful claims, and concluding with Israel and America's shared destiny in securing all of liberty's domains. The section on our shared destiny offers a new paradigm – a which reveals, for the first time, the true nature of the conflict in which the entire world is immersed. It begins on Page 12.

Part One: The Case for Israel
Good evening, I'm Benjamin Netanyahu, the newly-elected Prime Minister of Israel. For far too many years now, I've been watching and listening to the world's leaders and international media attack Israel, using exaggerations, misstatements and outright lies. The effect of these condemnations has been a surge of frightening anti-Semitism that is now at levels not seen since the Holocaust. It is time for me to set the record straight in order to prevent a repeat of the horror and tragedy of the 1930's and 40's for the Jewish People and the world.
1. ISRAEL BECAME A STATE IN 1312 B.C., TWO MILLENNIA BEFORE ISLAM.
2. ARAB REFUGEES FROM ISRAEL BEGAN CALLING THEMSELVES "PALESTINIANS" IN 1982, TWO DECADES AFTER (MODERN) ISRAELI STATEHOOD.
3. AFTER CONQUERING THE LAND IN 1272 B.C., JEWS RULED IT FOR A THOUSAND YEARS AND MAINTAINED A CONTINUOUS PRESENCE THERE FOR MORE THAN 3,300 YEARS.
4. THE ONLY CANAANITE RULE OF ISRAEL FOLLOWING THE JEWS' CONQUEST OF IT OCCURRED IN 633 B.C. – 2642 YEARS AGO – AND IT LASTED JUST 22 YEARS.
5. FOR MORE THAN 3,000 YEARS, JERUSALEM HAS BEEN JUDAISM'S CAPITAL. IT WAS NEVER THE CAPITAL OF ANY ARAB OR MUSLIM ENTITY. EVEN UNDER JORDANIAN RULE, (EAST) JERUSALEM WAS NOT MADE THE CAPITAL, AND NO ARAB LEADER CAME TO VISIT IT.
6. JERUSALEM IS MENTIONED OVER 700 TIMES IN THE BIBLE, BUT NOT ONCE IS IT MENTIONED IN THE QUR'AN.
7. KING DAVID FOUNDED JERUSALEM; MOHAMMED NEVER SET FOOT IN IT.
8. JEWS PRAY FACING JERUSALEM; MUSLIMS FACE MECCA. IF THEY ARE BETWEEN THE TWO CITIES, MUSLIMS PRAY FACING MECCA, WITH THEIR BACKS TO JERUSALEM.
9. IN 1948, ARAB LEADERS URGED THEIR PEOPLE TO LEAVE ISRAEL, PROMISING TO CLEANSE THE LAND OF ITS JEWISH PRESENCE. APPROXIMATELY 150,000 ARABS FLED WITHOUT EVER SETTING EYES ON AN ISRAELI SOLDIER. ABOUT 400,000 STAYED IN THE AREA OF THE WEST BANK.
10. IN SPITE OF THE VAST TERRITORIES AT THEIR DISPOSAL, ARAB REFUGESS WERE DELIBERATELY PREVENTED FROM BEING ABSORBED INTO NEIGHBORING MUSLIM COUNTRIES. OF THE 100 MILLION REFUGEES FOLLOWING WORLD WAR II, THEY ARE THE ONLY GROUP TO HAVE NEVER INTEGRATED WITH THEIR CO-RELIGIONISTS AND SEMITE BROTHERS.
11. AT ABOUT THE SAME TIME, VIRTUALLY THE ENTIRE JEWISH POPULATION IN MUSLIM COUNTRIES WAS PERSECUTED AND FORCED TO FLEE AS A RESULT OF VIOLENCE AND POGROMS. WITHIN THE NEXT 30 YEARS, ISRAEL, A COUNTRY THE SIZE OF THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY, ABSORBED APPROXIMATELY 850,000 JEWISH REFUGEES INTO HER SOCIETY.
12. CONTRARY TO THE WAY IN WHICH JEWS WERE TREATED IN MUSLIM COUNTRIES, ISRAEL TREATS HER ARAB POPULATION WITH HUMANITY AND RESPECT. ARAB CITIZENS IN ISRAEL HAVE THE SAME CIVIL RIGHTS AS JEWS, CHRISTIANS AND MEMBERS OF ALL OTHER RELIGIONS. ISRAELI ARABS MAY VOTE, AND THEY MAY HOLD POLITICAL OFFICE. IN FACT, THE ISRAELI ARABS JUST RECEIVED SEVEN SEATS IN ISRAEL'S PARLIAMENT IN LAST MONTH'S ELECTION.
13. THERE ARE 22 MUSLIM COUNTRIES. THERE IS ONLY ONE JEWISH STATE. THE 22 MUSLIM COUNTRIES COMPRISE AN AREA 600 TIMES LARGER THAN ISRAEL (Please look at this regional map of the Middle East – Israel is in yellow): http://canadiancoalition.com/forum/messages/16041.shtml.
14. THE ARABS STARTED ALL FIVE WARS AGAINST ISRAEL, AND LOST EVERY ONE OF THEM.
15. THE FATAH AND HAMAS COVENANTS STILL CALL FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF ISRAEL. DESPITE THAT FACT, AND IN THE NAME OF PEACE, ISRAEL CEDED MUNICIPAL CONTROL OF MOST OF THE WEST BANK TO THE PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY, EVEN PROVIDING IT WITH ARMS, AND DISENGAGED FROM ALL OF GAZA.
15. DURING THE JORDANIAN OCCUPATION, FROM 1948-1967, JEWISH HOLY SITES WERE VANDALIZED AND WERE OFF LIMITS TO JEWS. UNDER ISRAELI RULE, ALL MUSLIM AND CHRISTIAN HOLY SITES ARE TREATED WITH RESPECT AND ARE ACCESSIBLE TO MEMBERS OF ALL FAITHS.
16. OF THE 175 UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL RESOLUTIONS THRU 1990, 97 WERE AGAINST ISRAEL; OF THE 690 GENERAL ASSEMBLY RESOLUTIONS, 429 WERE AGAINST ISRAEL. YET, THE U.N. WAS SILENT WHEN THE JORDANIANS DESTROYED 58 SYNAGOGUES IN THE OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM. IT REMAINED SILENT WHILE JORDAN SYSTEMATICALLY DESECRATED THE ANCIENT JEWISH CEMETERY ON THE MOUNT OF OLIVES, AND IT REMAINED SILENT WHEN JORDAN ENFORCED LAWS PREVENTING JEWS FROM ACCESSING THE TEMPLE MOUNT AND THE WESTERN WALL, TWO OF JUDAISM'S HOLIEST SITES.
I URGE YOU TO CONFIRM THESE FACTS, AND ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, WITH MIDDLE EAST HISTORIANS.
On November 2, 1917, the Balfour Declaration, signed by Britain's Lord Balfour, the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, wrote: "His Majesty's Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish People..." Palestine included all of Trans-Jordan. Five years later, however, the British cut away 77% of its mandate over Palestine that was earmarked for the Jews, and gave it to Abdullah, creating the new country of Trans-Jordan, later to be called, Jordan.
On July 24, 1922, fifty-one member countries – the entire League of Nations, the governing world body prior to the creation of the United Nations – unanimously declared:
There has never been a sovereign Arab state in Palestine. Arabs in neighboring states have never recognized a Palestinian entity. In fact, in 1937, a local Arab, Auni Bey Abdul- Hadi, testified before the Peel Commission, a British investigative body, arguing: "There is no such country! Palestine is a term the Zionists invented! There is no Palestine in the Bible. Our country was for centuries, part of Syria." In addition, the Arabs did not recognize or establish a Palestinian state during the 19 years prior to the Six-Day War, when the West Bank was under Jordanian control and the Gaza Strip was under Egyptian control.
