Writer Rev. Austin Miles seemed to vanish from sight. The host of the popular website: www.revaustinmiles.com, which has over eight and a half million subscribers, was suddenly nowhere to be found. Nor were the columns of seven of the finest writers in cyberspace that is published there each week.

Rev. Austin also writes for American Prophet, Inspirational Christian Blogs, News with Views, American Patriot. com, RenewAmerica.com, Fremont County Crusader (Colorado print newspaper), rob@WisconsinchristianNews.com, Priscilla.Martinez75@yahoo.com,International Chaplaincies, along with many more publications.

His absence during this time became conspicuous. He was first knocked down by Pneumonia, hospitalized, then fell and broke his back in two places. This means wearing a back brace for an indefinite time.

A personal Word from Rev. Austin: Stay turned. Hoping to get back in the saddle of a bucking typewriter soon. After they brought me back to consciousness in the V.A. hospital, a nurse jumped up on a desk and with clenched fists in the air proclaimed, "HE'S ALIVE...HE'S A L I V E !!!"

Ok. ok, that last part may have possibly been elaborated upon in order to advance the storyline. However, there was an interesting adventure connected with his. A tall slim Korean volunteer came to me and, now get this, THANKED ME FOR MY SERVICE IN KOREA. This has never been said to me before. You see, he lived in South Korea that we defended against the aggression of the North part of Korea which is Communist with the goal of taking over the entire country.

The V.A. was just great in helping me along with my very cute wife, Shirley, who has been a wonderful caregiver. As Spencer Tracy said about Katherine Hepburn in his New Jersey Accent, "She's Churce!" (translation-CHOICE)
