Vetting foreign immigrants and students

Millions of foreigners have immigrated into the United States in recent years, mostly illegally, with many of them from nations which are hotbeds of murderous Islamic Jihad and totalitarian Islamic Sharia Law, or hotbeds of Communism or Fascism. Tens of thousands of foreign students study in our universities. How should we vet them before entry? No doubt there are a number of official methods to do so, but how effective are they? Do those methods get to the heart of the issue? Is there a better way to screen out those who openly or secretly hate the United States? Shouldn’t we forbid entry to those who reject the very concept of our American Revolution? It should be clear by now that current vetting methods are insufficient; too many foreigners who now reside here are hostile to American culture and law, and hostile to our people and the American Mind. In addition to current vetting procedures, before allowing entry, I believe all foreigners should publicly recite and sign the following pledge:

“While visiting or residing in the United States of America I will obey the moral law of the American Declaration of Independence, and obey the secular laws of the American Constitution and other secular laws of the United States. While visiting or residing in the United States of America I will disavow all forms of totalitarian law including Islamic Sharia, Fascist and Communist.”
