"College orientation" for the spring semester:

Ask yourself who is teaching our college kids, and what are their values? I stumbled on an article l printed out in 2013, "20 of the most obnoxious quotes from college professors." Here are just a few:

• "Kill the rich people. Break up their cars. Bring the revolution home. Kill your parents." – Bill Ayers, U. of Illinois -Chicago

• "Activists have stayed the course, devoted to overthrowing everything hateful about this government and corporate structure that we live in; capitalism itself, herself, himself . . ." – Bernardine Dohrn, Northwestern University

• I live to harass white folks." – Derrick Bell, Harvard

• "We need to think about who the enemy is: the United States and everyone who supports it." – Haunani-Kay Trask, U. of Hawaii-Manoa

• "Thanksgiving is the day when the dominant white culture celebrates the beginning of a genocide that was blessed by men we hold up as our heroic founding fathers, men who had values and views virtually identical to the Nazis." – Robert Jensen, U. of Texas, Austin

• "I know they say that Stalin killed 20, 30, 40 million people. It's (BS). I have yet to find one crime that Stalin committed." (How hard is he looking)? – Grover Furr, Montclair State University
