Recently, I had the opportunity of reading the fine conservative magazine: The National Review. Much to my surprise I found out that Michael Reagan had passed away recently during the month of January 2026.
Michael was the adopted son of our former President Ronald Reagan. During the month of January 2010, I had the opportunity of interviewing Michael over the phone. My audio interview was used in part to talk to Michael about his father and substantiate some information I had on his beloved father. I was in the process of writing a chapter about his father (and his faith in Christ) in my first inspirational book (!6 Amazing Stories of Divine Intervention).
My interview with him further substantiated a number of facts I earlier found out about this former President. Michael became fairly popular during those days and a number of years prior as a Conservative Radio Talk Show Host. I very much enjoyed listening to his fine daily radio show. Like a number of people that are in my two inspirational books published by Zulon Press, I believe Michael is now in Heaven with our Dear Lord.
Sadly, a friend from a family who had a very positive spiritual influence on the college (Linfield in McMinnville, Oregon) I went to recently passed away as well. Her name is Arlene Friesen. Arlene was the eldest daughter of Frank & Adina Friesen.
Arlene was a dedicated follower of our Dear Lord, Jesus Christ. She was also a fine musician and piano player. My wife (Lorraine) and I had the privilege of having her play the piano during our wedding ceremony held in June of 1973 at La Jolla Presbyterian Church.
Arlene became most well-known by becoming the Head of the Music Department at Christ for the Nations Christian School in Dallas, Texas for many years. She honored our Dear Lord by encouraging and teaching students to learn and play religious songs which bless all of us in our faith with our Dear Lord. I thank our Dear Lord for her life and wish her the very best in Heaven right now!
